Luau, The Main Campfire, Friday evening

Around dinner time on Friday, the main campfire was transformed. Leis and grass skirts were available to all. A pig was roasting kabobs. There was Hawaiian music playing from somewhere. There was also a limbo stick of doom. If you lost, you died.

Okay, that was just Drax's hope. He couldn't make it happen in reality. Woe.

Roy neither denied or confirmed the accusation. He did ignore the glare. "So were you planning on actually dropping by to talk to me? I can't imagine Alphonse didn't tell you I'm on the island."

"I don't have anything to report to you," he ground out, making no comment about what Al had told him.

"No, I imagine you don't. I'm just enlisted now," Roy reminded Edward.

He blinked, taken aback for once by the remark.

"So why did you want to see me then?" he asked, still a bit wary.

Roy raised an eyebrow at the question, but decided that if Ed couldn't figure that out for himself, he shouldn't answer it either.

"I should be in my office tomorrow," he said. "You can ask Al where it is if you don't know."

Edward nodded. "I'll see if I have time to stop by."

But Ed knew he would.

"You do that," Roy agreed and glanced at the campfire for a moment. "I won't hold you up any longer. You seemed to have somewhere urgent to be."

Roy nodded his goodbye and put his hands in his pockets as he watched after Ed. He'd known he was alive.
