Welcome Dance - the Gym

The streamers and banners are up. So are a zillion multi-colored helium balloons.

The floor is cleared, and the bandstand is up at the north side of the room, ready for Dusted Bunnies to take their places.

The refreshment table, with the (as yet) unspiked punch is in place. There are chips and stuff as well, Chex mix, a few nachos and some guacamole.

Rory, who is not at all a wallflower or shy or anything, stood somewhat awkwardly by the punch. She suspiciously sniffed the liquid.

After dressing up to the 9's (http://www.livejournal.com/users/strongestgirl/6306.html) Pippi walked in to the gym and looked around. Particularly mesmerized by the lights of the slowly turning disco ball.

Isabel enters the gym and wanders over towards the punch bowl because it seems like that's where everyone is at the moment.

Peter walked up to the punch table. No danger. Okay, punch wasn't poisoned or anything. Good to know.

So he took some. Didn't seem spiked either yet. Peter was batting 1.000.

Shep isn't exactly a wallflower, but he isn't quite sure what he's doing at the dance. Lord knows if anyone actually got him to try and dance... well, there would probably be injuries. Even more probably he'd be one of them. So for the moment he's hanging out, drinking punch and hoping someone will talk to him so he doesn't have to pretend that he's standing there at the punchbowl like a total dork.

Pip walks into the gym. And he, as mentioned before, looks snazzy. He takes a cup of punch and looks for people to mingle and dance with. And he had a special eye out for Maia. He had promised her a dance and all.

Archie and Jaye are honestly not blushing and grinning like idiots when they show up together and head for the (so far, safe) punch bowl.

Jessica stands in the gym doorway for quite some time, not really sure if she should enter. She wanted to, that was for sure, as she had spent hours getting ready. Wearing her light green gown (her favorite), her best pearls, white gloves, white high heels and a white silk scarf, Jessica glowed. After gathering up enough courage she approachs the refreshment table, pours a glass of punch, and stands there swirling the cup about with her hand.
