The streamers and banners are up. So are a zillion multi-colored helium balloons.

The floor is cleared, and the bandstand is up at the north side of the room, ready for Dusted Bunnies to take their places.

The refreshment table, with the (as yet) unspiked punch is in place. There are chips and stuff as well, Chex mix, a few nachos and some guacamole.

"Exactly," Cameron grins, "there's a whole lot worse homework out there." Not that it was homework.

"Like what?", she asks and sips her punch. "People are always commenting on how strange this place is. I can imagine the homework would be just so. Not that I have anything to compare it to, I was... home schooled, I guess you could say."

"Uh, there was the whole fun Ethics homework where the teacher wanted us to play slave and master to each other," Cameron shakes his head, looking a bit disgruntled. "I refused to do that one. I don't think an Ethics teacher should try to convince her students that slavery isn't all bad."

Pippi had once hear sailors and ladies discussing playing such games in the pubs of Tortuga... Somehow she worked out that this might be a little different.

"Depends on the kind of ethics being taught I guess... That doesn't sound fun though."

"No, it wasn't. The teacher's gone now, so you should be good." He shrugs. "Most teacher we've got now seem to be marginally sane."

"Somebody at one point told me that the Math teacher was a gumball machine... But he's a person and he doesn't give out gumballs... Though he does give out brakefast foods. He's quite nice, I like him."

Cameron shakes his head, he was under the impression the maths teacher was mocking him. "I don't think there's a need to go confuse people more. This place is mindbreaking enough without having to add to it."

She bonks herself on the head. (Or is that "*facepalm*"?)

"You're favorite number is nine, because it turns over into six. I'm sorry math has me so wound up..."
