The streamers and banners are up. So are a zillion multi-colored helium balloons.

The floor is cleared, and the bandstand is up at the north side of the room, ready for Dusted Bunnies to take their places.

The refreshment table, with the (as yet) unspiked punch is in place. There are chips and stuff as well, Chex mix, a few nachos and some guacamole.

"'xactly," Rory said, quirking a finger at Parker. "I didn't want to think it was you, but considering...." She shrugged. "I'm glad you didn't, though. Now I have to figure out who did."

"Hmph." Parker would be offended, but, well. Totally justified assumption. "What did the posters say? I didn't see any that stood out as wrong."

"Like, stuff about bringing back the curfew, and segregating the dorms by gender, and keeping delivery people away," Rory said, rolling her eyes. "It was ridiculous."

Laughing, Parker commented, "But smart. Wow, if anyone was paying attention and didn't know him to ask, they might take those seriously." She narrowed her eyes. "I wonder if it's the same person who put up the 'Maureen Corps' posters."

"Oh, I saw those. Clever," Rory smiled. "You know who I bet it was? Just based on his propensity to decorate the dorms in his own unique way?"

Parker rolled her eyes. Mostly at herself, for not figuring it out sooner. "When you put it like that...."

"Personally, I don't think it's worth pursuing it, since he'll deny it and make our lives miserable," Rory sighed. "And elections are in three days anyway. But yeah, pretty sure that's who it was."

"The next time I get a chance to tie his shoelaces together, I'm taking it for the Maureen thing. Oh, man. And the doll. That is so him. Gets thwarted, and--" Parker cuts herself off from saying anything about her talk with Logan. "Yeah. Anyway. I'm damn glad this election is almost over. And at least I'm pretty sure that Phoebe's not going to win."

"And thank God for that," Rory said in an uncharacteristic show of disdain. "Did you see those absurd posters with the gun?"

"I did. I applaud the sentiment, but honestly, was she trying to piss off the administration?" Parker asked. "That's the kind of thing that led to the gun ban in the first place. Whatever they do about getting *rid* of the little monsters if fine with me at this point. I never want to see one again."

"I signed the petition," Rory shrugged. "I think we should move them or something so that they're not biting people, y'know, but not dead."

"And suddenly, I have an image of a Gremlin Reservation, with little teeny green warriors riding across the deserted landscape." Parker shook her head. "Whichever, I think Phoebe's losing it a little. Maybe taking too many courses and too many activities. That was *not* the smoothest tack to take when there's a petition to get them humanely trapped."
