Leda had, perhaps foolishly to attend this picnic entirely sober. This plus her nervousness made for a somewhat fidgety elf girl. Odd how her fidgeting kind of resembled american sign language finger spelling.

Robin, as he often did, had brought his banjo out for this event and was serenading new and old students and teachers alike.

Thanks to Layla (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/2157924.html?thread=139196260#t139196260), Hannibal was down to just his boxer shorts (http://www.cityboxers.com/images/p/s2/2381.gif) and didn't seem too bothered by that at all. He was still enjoying the picnic, even as naked as he was.

Networking was a never ending job, so Turtle, of course, was still here, now there with a Squishy after a quick run to the store, and feeling pretty good about this new batch so far.

Surprise, surprise, Valentine wasn't really being all that social, but it wasn't like she ever tried to do more than just appear social. So she was there with some ice cream, watching the crowd and already planning some of the things she'd get to say on radio just by watching everyone interact.

By this time, Elle was concerned about her heels and didn't want to ruin them, so she was sitting, legs crossed, feet bare. Bruiser was on his leash and found a nice patch of grass to snooze on.

So far it's been a super exciting day.

Yuffie's day had started out bad, gotten very strange and then turned out pretty damn good after a few pictures and a ranting phone call. Now she was just sitting around, getting ready to head back to her room again.

Arthur was still here, although after speaking to Layla, he was altogether more confused. He did a good job of hiding it over another burger, however.

Fiona had a new 'sibling' and a new roommate all in one day, and crowds were very much not her thing. Combined with all the food that was around, it was kind of a miracle that she stuck around.

...hanging out within eyesight of the festivities curled up under a tree is totally 'sticking around'.

Bones wasn't so much "mingling" as much as "looking for Jim so he can yell at him". He had somehow been signed up as a student and, not only that, a student with a girl roommate.

Clearly someone needed to be yelled at.

Karla was tromping around, enjoying her new boots. She didn't have long until she had to go, but she was hoping to meet with some of the new students before she left.

George had actually moved away from the food table by now and found himself a seat in the grass from where he could watch all the goings on.

It was weird being outside and in a park-thing like this, but he wasn't going to let a single important thing pass by him as he scanned the people and the area.

Hurley finally made an appearance at the picnic a bit later. He was no longer totally mopey, and actually pretty excited to meet some new people.

Despite having talked to Karev, Griff had yet to flee the picnic grounds, enjoying his portion of free food and people watching the newbies. They were like an invasion of the bewildered.

It was a little strange to be at the picnic and not be one of the new students, but Morgana had to say that she liked it better this way. She was playing a personal game of "Spot the New Person" and enjoying some of the ice cream.

Ino was still bouncy, but her crown had slipped halfway down her face and now she was sitting cross-legged on the ground and using bits of grass to weave it together enough for it to stick around until the end of the picnic.
