Turtle had been wondering when there'd be a really strange one, and, well, she think she found her. "Hi!" she waved. "Welcome to Fandom."

Joolushko had expected to meet her so-called sibling and her roommate. She hadn't expected anyone else to try and make conversation with her.

"Hello," she said after a pause. "Thank you." Her father had reminded her, quite sternly, to try and be polite. So she would try.

"Welcome," Turtle smiled. "My name's Turtle. How are things so far?"

"Things are fine," Joolushko said. Nothing terrible had happened yet, after all, she was fairly sure she could live with her roommate without bloodshed, and some of the foods were quite good. And nobody had told her anything horrible about the place yet.

"Are you part of some sort of welcoming committee?"

And there was another one. Turtle barely kept herself from sighing.

"No," she said. "I just like to meet people. What's your name?"

"Oh." Joolushko didn't entirely understand the desire to talk to random strangers, but it was fine for other people. Probably.

"Joolushko Tunai Fenta Hovalis."

"It's my name," Joolushko said. "I've never had a problem with it."

"I actually don't like mine at all," Turtle admitted. "Turtle's just a nickname, and I think it's much better than my real name."

"I prefer my full name to anything else," Joolushko said. But her name was awesome, so why wouldn't she? "What is your real name?"

"I prefer not to admit to it," Turtle said. "What was your full name again?"

She was probably going to need a few times before she would be able to get it.

"Joolushko Tunai Fenta Hovalis," Joolushko said slowly. She wanted people to be able to say it properly, after all.

She could totally get it.

"Very good." She was probably unaware of the patronizing tone. Probably. "I suppose Joolushko is enough for everyday though."

Turtle was very focused on getting it right, so she didn't notice the tone at all right. "Joolushko," she agreed. "The more you say it, the more natural it sounds. We don't exactly have names like that where I'm from."
