Danger Shop - Detention [6/24]

As the students enter, the Danger Shop appears to be a mostly empty room with a half circle of chairs in the middle.

The focal point of the half circle is a large white board which has a list of names on one half. The other half is covered at the moment.

Once everyone has arrived, Veronica begins briefing them.

"I don't know what you guys did to earn detention today and frankly, I don't care. Today we're going to solve a mystery and you're going to put someone else's well being before for your own."

She uncovers the other half of the board, which has a list of information about a missing girl, including a physical description.

"The girls' parents believe she has run off with her boyfriend and don't want to involve the authorities. It's your job to find her."

Activity One - Search Her Bedroom

Veronica hits some buttons on the Danger Shop controls and the room changes to look like a teenage girl's bedroom.

"Her parents know she's seeing someone, but they don't know who. Your job is to search the room and find a name. Start looking."



[you can mod finding anything that you'd find in a typical teenage girl's bedroom - diary, photos, movie tickets, etc. the name you'll eventually want to find is Dick Casablancas. you can work together or separately]

Activity Two - Lock Picking

"Now we've got a name and we can easily get an address. Problem is, we don't want to tip anyone off that we're on to them."

The scene changes to the hallway of an upscale hotel.

"The security cameras give you a 60 second window once every twenty minutes where they're not on this door. You can hide at the top of the stairwell until the window starts and then you have 60 seconds to pick the lock and gain access to the room."

He's in bed with someone that isn't the girl we're looking for. In fact, it's not a girl at all.

Guess we need to find another suspect.

Free food? Maybe detention wasn't so bad after all. But he definitely wasn't thinking of ways to get detention next week just for the free food. That would be idiotic (and completely Kawalsky-like).

The Jamies sat together in one group to eat lunch.

It was probably a bad idea.

First Jamie stuck a pickle in another Jamie's ear screaming "Pickle Willie!"

Then Fries were thrown. Followed by a milkshake.

Then it became a food fight between them all.

Honestly you would think there were really 15, not just 35 in a 15 year old's body.

Detention wasn't what Stark had been expecting. Not nearly as bad. There was food, at least.

Sakurazaki drops down at a table with a sigh. Precious training time lost on playing detective...If it were something serious like a hostile take-over of one of Japan's biggest magic societies, then she'd consider herself lucky. That would be some very good practise. Some teen running off with some guy, though? If she ended up dead in some back alley dumpster, then it was her own damn fault.

"There was another guy's name we saw come up a few times in the room, so we're going to question him. But you need to go undercover so he doesn't suspect what we're up to. Don't worry, he's kinda dense, so he'll be easy to snow."

"Suspect #2 was innocent, but he tipped us off to where the girl might be.

Problem is, she didn't actually run off with a boyfriend, she's being held captive by a psychotic lover, which means we have to rescue her."

The danger shop changes again and we're in a large, multi room house.

And there's the missing girl. She's tied up on a bed, so she'll need to be untied and you'll need to get her out of the house without the suspect hearing you.
