As the students enter, the Danger Shop appears to be a mostly empty room with a half circle of chairs in the middle.

The focal point of the half circle is a large white board which has a list of names on one half. The other half is covered at the moment.

Once everyone has arrived, Veronica begins briefing them.

"I don't know what you guys did to earn detention today and frankly, I don't care. Today we're going to solve a mystery and you're going to put someone else's well being before for your own."

She uncovers the other half of the board, which has a list of information about a missing girl, including a physical description.

"The girls' parents believe she has run off with her boyfriend and don't want to involve the authorities. It's your job to find her."

Nadia pulled out her very seldomly used library card and slid it into the door crack.

Approximately two seconds later, the door popped open. She was just lucky that the hotel happened to have door knobs that you could jimmy open that way. Though she had been thinking of using the metal clip from her mechanical pencil and the ampere attachment on her leatherman.

Walter couldn't argue with results, now could he?

Sure he could, since he'd gotten into the room even faster, but that seemed like a bad idea.

Yes, but Nadia got in without leaving evidence.

Well, until she realized the room wasn't empty, at least.

When she got back into the hallway, she gave him a playful shove. "You couldn't have warned me they were in there?"

Walter laughed and shook his head. "That would have been cheating, Miss Professional."

Nadia laughed slightly at the word "cheating". "I may have just ruined their relationship. Should I feel bad?"

"What did you do?" Walter asked, still grinning. "I just pulled the 'oops, you didn't need turndown service' act."

"Yes, but I don't exactly look like a maid right now. I accused his boyfriend of cheating on me and declared that I wanted a threesome with another girl, not a guy."

Walter coughed and shook his head before catching himself and nodding. "You either ruined their relationship, or opened whole new vistas for them."

Nadia shrugged. "Good thing they're just computer programs, then."

"Definitely. Otherwise they'd be having the fight of the century in there right now. But it looks to be lunch time now. Time flies when you're breaking and entering."

Nadia nodded. "That it does."
