As the students enter, the Danger Shop appears to be a mostly empty room with a half circle of chairs in the middle.

The focal point of the half circle is a large white board which has a list of names on one half. The other half is covered at the moment.

Once everyone has arrived, Veronica begins briefing them.

"I don't know what you guys did to earn detention today and frankly, I don't care. Today we're going to solve a mystery and you're going to put someone else's well being before for your own."

She uncovers the other half of the board, which has a list of information about a missing girl, including a physical description.

"The girls' parents believe she has run off with her boyfriend and don't want to involve the authorities. It's your job to find her."

Detention wasn't what Stark had been expecting. Not nearly as bad. There was food, at least.

Taking a burger and some fries, Stark sat down at a table.

Tyler took a grilled cheese sandwich and some coffee and sat down near Stark. "Nice mask."

"Thank you," Stark said, looking up from his food. "People here seem to like it."

"It makes a great statement," Tyler said. "I'm Tyler, by the way. You got detention from Artie, right?"

"It does?" Stark asked. "I'm Stark. And yes. Artie said I was subversive. I didn't think I was being subversive. What did you do?"

"Didn't want to beat up on aluminum siding on cue," Tyler said. "Oh, and I told him I wouldn't sell the stuff."

He snickered. "It was worth getting detention."

"I thought hitting the siding was fun. The rest of the class," Stark shrugged as he let the thought trail off. "I think Artie's gone mad. Madder. Or maybe he was mad and now he's not."

"Or the whole thing is a giant act," Tyler said. "Which is my theory. His whole life is a performance art piece."

"That would explain...a lot. Maybe everything," Stark said with a nod. "Do you think he'll be back to normal soon? Well, not really normal. Normal for him."

"Depends on when he feels like he's made his point," Tyler said. "Unless I'm wrong and he really is sick or something."

"Whatever it is that's making him be like this, I hope it's over soon." Stark shook his head. "If he's trying to make a point, I don't think anyone understood it. Unless that was the point."

((Sorry I disappeared, had to go out with the family for a bit.))

"I'd rather not get detention again," Tyler agreed. "And I have no idea what his point is, if he has one."

"I don't want any more detentions either. At least for no reason. Maybe if I do something to actually deserve one," Stark said. "Maybe."
