Danger Shop - Detention [6/24]

As the students enter, the Danger Shop appears to be a mostly empty room with a half circle of chairs in the middle.

The focal point of the half circle is a large white board which has a list of names on one half. The other half is covered at the moment.

Once everyone has arrived, Veronica begins briefing them.

"I don't know what you guys did to earn detention today and frankly, I don't care. Today we're going to solve a mystery and you're going to put someone else's well being before for your own."

She uncovers the other half of the board, which has a list of information about a missing girl, including a physical description.

"The girls' parents believe she has run off with her boyfriend and don't want to involve the authorities. It's your job to find her."

Free food? Maybe detention wasn't so bad after all. But he definitely wasn't thinking of ways to get detention next week just for the free food. That would be idiotic (and completely Kawalsky-like).

Marie grabbed a burger and soda and went to find a seat.

Her face was still pretty flushed from the end of the last activity.

"Is anyone sitting here?" she asked. "I feel awful because we have a couple workshops together, but I don't know your name. I'm Marie."

"Oh, hey. Uh, no, no-one's sitting there. Take a seat. I'm Charlie." He offered his hand.

She sat down and started eating. "So how'd you end up in detention?" she asked between bites.

The Jamies sat together in one group to eat lunch.

It was probably a bad idea.

First Jamie stuck a pickle in another Jamie's ear screaming "Pickle Willie!"

Then Fries were thrown. Followed by a milkshake.

Then it became a food fight between them all.

Honestly you would think there were really 15, not just 35 in a 15 year old's body.

Detention wasn't what Stark had been expecting. Not nearly as bad. There was food, at least.

Taking a burger and some fries, Stark sat down at a table.

Tyler took a grilled cheese sandwich and some coffee and sat down near Stark. "Nice mask."

Sakurazaki drops down at a table with a sigh. Precious training time lost on playing detective...If it were something serious like a hostile take-over of one of Japan's biggest magic societies, then she'd consider herself lucky. That would be some very good practise. Some teen running off with some guy, though? If she ended up dead in some back alley dumpster, then it was her own damn fault.

Walter grabs a standard diner burger and sits down with the girl he's never met before. "I'm Walter. Is this your first time in detention?"
