As the students enter, the Danger Shop appears to be a mostly empty room with a half circle of chairs in the middle.

The focal point of the half circle is a large white board which has a list of names on one half. The other half is covered at the moment.

Once everyone has arrived, Veronica begins briefing them.

"I don't know what you guys did to earn detention today and frankly, I don't care. Today we're going to solve a mystery and you're going to put someone else's well being before for your own."

She uncovers the other half of the board, which has a list of information about a missing girl, including a physical description.

"The girls' parents believe she has run off with her boyfriend and don't want to involve the authorities. It's your job to find her."

"She really can be, can't she?" Phoebe asked curiously. "But I did say I'd meet her and I try to keep my word..." She moved closer. "Hey, I have an idea. How abut you take me to her so she knows I didn't stand her up and then you and I can ditch them and..."

Hologram or not, she may need a shower after this conversation.

"Okay," Duncan nodded eagerly. "Let's go."

Phoebe smiled and fell into step with the guy. After he told her where Madison was most likely, she smiled at him again.

"So, you know my name, but I have no idea who you are."

Duncan was totally pulling the yawn and stretch, trying to put his arm around Phoebe. "Oh, I'm sorry. My name's Duncan."

He had his arm around her when his name slammed into Phoebe's mind.

Duncan?! Duncan who had ... to V...?!

No, no no.

"I am so not doing this,"

Phoebe spun out of his arm and then slammed a fist into Duncan's nose like she had been taught to do.

Duncan blinked. "What was that for?" he whined, clutching his bleeding nose.

Phoebe kicked his legs out from under him. "For Veronica," she hissed angrily. "No one fucks with my friends."

Phoebe then stalked away from the whining lump of cardboard.

Okay, so he was a Danger Shop manifestation, but it had felt good to hurt him after what he had done to V.

And yes, she needed a shower... and maybe a bottle of tequila after all of this.
