Danger Shop - Detention [6/24]

As the students enter, the Danger Shop appears to be a mostly empty room with a half circle of chairs in the middle.

The focal point of the half circle is a large white board which has a list of names on one half. The other half is covered at the moment.

Once everyone has arrived, Veronica begins briefing them.

"I don't know what you guys did to earn detention today and frankly, I don't care. Today we're going to solve a mystery and you're going to put someone else's well being before for your own."

She uncovers the other half of the board, which has a list of information about a missing girl, including a physical description.

"The girls' parents believe she has run off with her boyfriend and don't want to involve the authorities. It's your job to find her."

"There was another guy's name we saw come up a few times in the room, so we're going to question him. But you need to go undercover so he doesn't suspect what we're up to. Don't worry, he's kinda dense, so he'll be easy to snow."

The danger shop changes again and there are racks of costumes and wigs you can utilize to change your appearance.

Kawalsky browsed through the selection of clothes and came out with the perfect disguise.

The Jamies just stared at Kawalsky.

"Well at least we know where Waldo is," One commented.

"He's supposed to be Artie. Besides he doesn't have a cane. Or a cap," another Jamie said.

Another Jamie is rolling on the floor laughing much like the mun is "Dude! You have to go to class like that next week!"

Jamie decided that he was going to dress up like a construction worker, a police man, an Indian, a cowboy, a soldier, a biker and a sailor.

It's difficult to look like someone else when you're the only person around with half a face. There wasn't much that Stark could think of to do with the mask. Sure, he could have thrown on a wig and looked like this but that wouldn't be a very good disguise, now would it?

Instead, he just went with a large hoodie, with the hood pulled down around his face.

Tyler decides he doesn't need much of a disguise, but he really likes a leather jacket (http://malestars.codserver.com/cnt/edward_norton/photos/25.jpg) on the rack. He straightens his posture andgells down his hair and could easily pass for a decade older.

Walter's usual look is rather distinctive, so jeans and a t-shirt actually count as something like undercover for him.

A blonde wig with Japanese eyes would probably still be suspicious, so Sakurazaki merely puts her hair down (and put in a pink ribbon), puts on some casual clothes to replace her typical Mahora uniform, and tosses on some glasses. Hey. The glasses had worked for Hasegawa-san...

Nadia was donning (what else?) a wig and glasses. Because wigs, glasses, and a fake accent were the keys to the ultimate disguise.

Well, when you're in an environment where not everyone knows everyone else, anyway.

Kawalsky, all disguised up, approached the suspect. "Hello friend. Are you having a pipe day today?"

Wow. This was harder than he thought it would be.

"Okay buddy, here's the deal. Tell us what we want to know or we'll follow you everywhere singing 'Macho Man'."

Questioning people was not Stark's strong suit. Still, he was willing to try. Making sure to keep his hood down over his face, he walked up to the new suspect.

"I, um, I'm looking for someone. A friend. Have you seen her?"

Pushing the fake glasses up her nose, and trying to play up her cute Japanese girl charms but failing horribly due to blush and extreme awkwardness (although, maybe that's actually helping her), Sakurazaki approaches the witness. "H...Hello. Um, I was wondering...if, um, maybe you could help me?"

Nadia wasn't entirely certain how to go about questioning a suspect, but decided to give it a shot, anyway. First, the approach:

"Excuse me," she asked, adopting an American accent. "I'm, like, pretty lost, here. Do you know how I can find the Screeching Eel?"

Kaylee really had no idea what she was doing, but she walked over to the suspect anyway. "Hello, I seemed to have misplaced a friend of mine. Have you seen her? She's cute, blond, and popular, I think. At least she looks like one of those snobby types..."

Probably not the best approach.
