Novice's Guide to Villains and Villainy - Friday, Period 3, Danger Shop

Thursday greeted the students inside the Danger Shop. Her arm was still in a sling.

"Good work last week. While Lord Vizzle lives on, you all performed admirably. This is our final class, and I would imagine the last class of the academic year for all of you. Thank you all for a memorable semester. I'm not teaching over Summer and I'm not certain at this stage if I'll be back in the Fall, so in case this is the last time I see any of you, best wishes for the future. I hope this class has been of some use to you. Let's get on to the final.

Your task is simple: walk through the door and you'll be faced with a villain from literary fiction or popular culture. Defeat them using whatever means necessary. You'll be graded on ingenuity and the effectiveness of your plan, so if you don't succeed in defeating them, it's still possible to obtain a good grade provided your approach is sound. Once you step through the door, there are no rules.

The room shifted so that River was standing outside a hut near a small creek. There was smoke coming out of the chimney of the hut and the door was slightly ajar. River might have heard humming coming from inside.

Tori cautiously moved through the door, wondering who she might come face to face with.

[Is Lothor (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lothor) a possible choice (http://www.rangercentral.com/prns-villains.htm)? ;) Granted he's from Power Rangers Ninja Storm, so maybe not?]

Shawn put up a facade of confidence, before walking through the door. Hopefully he would end up feeling like he hoped he seemed.

The room changed and Shawn would have found himself in a classroom. There was a ruckus as students talked and there was no teacher in sight. In a flash, the little fox-like girl was up in Shawn's face talking at him.

"Everyone knows what you did last night and now no one's ever going to believe anything you say. Now you'll have to do what *I* say or I'll start doing bad things and telling everyone that *you* did them and no one will believe you, ever! And then," she said primly, "You'll go to jail. Jail bird!"

The room changed and Seely would have found himself on a dark, wet rooftop in a non-descript city.

"Boys like you shouldn't be out at night," Ratwoman purred. Which was odd, because you wouldn't think that villains based on rodents would purr. "It might be dangerous for their health."

The room changed and Bel would have found himself in a derelict warehouse with old crates and assorted junk all around. "Belthazoooor!" a high-pitched voice said. It was rather disturbing considering who it was coming from. "I've been waiting for you!" Yep, there was the crazy toon with the anvil as a hand and creepy eyes.

Peter stepped through the door, keeping an eye out for whatever was coming.

The room changed and Peter would have found himself in a hallway. There was a door at the end of the hallway. The windows that lined the right-hand wall would have shown the view, since they were up on the side of Mount Everest. The body of a guard lay nearby, but he was just unconscious.

If he listened carefully, Peter might have heard a commotion behind the far door.

The room changed and Alanna would have found herself on by a lamp post a chilly night on the streets of Victorian London. A mysterious, well-dressed man, his face masked by the shadows, lingered at a distance.
