Novice's Guide to Villains and Villainy - Friday, Period 3, Danger Shop
Thursday greeted the students inside the Danger Shop. Her arm was still in a sling.
"Good work last week. While Lord Vizzle lives on, you all performed admirably. This is our final class, and I would imagine the last class of the academic year for all of you. Thank you all for a memorable semester. I'm not teaching over Summer and I'm not certain at this stage if I'll be back in the Fall, so in case this is the last time I see any of you, best wishes for the future. I hope this class has been of some use to you. Let's get on to the final.
Your task is simple: walk through the door and you'll be faced with a villain from literary fiction or popular culture. Defeat them using whatever means necessary. You'll be graded on ingenuity and the effectiveness of your plan, so if you don't succeed in defeating them, it's still possible to obtain a good grade provided your approach is sound. Once you step through the door, there are no rules.
Good luck."

Re: Face Your Villain
Re: Face Your Villain
The room changed and Hermione would have found herself standing on something rather squishy and moist. The rest of the chamber, if that's what you could call it, smelled terrible and had various bits of debris mixed with pools of shallow water. The back of the chamber was dark and somewhere distant there were grumblings.
If she looked carefully, she might notice giant teeth lining the walls.
If she was on the outside, there was a good chance she would have seen that she was *inside* her villain, who looked a lot like this.
Re: Face Your Villain
Hm. She could set a fire with her wand and go the sneezing route, but she doesn't want to risk hurting the whale. So right now she'll hold her breath and go searching through debris.
Re: Face Your Villain
There was nothing much to find in the debris. Quite a lot of wood, probably enough to make a few small boats, bits of a wooden puppet and some human remains. Apparently
Monstrothe whale never brushed its teeth. Not that it was supposed to have teeth like that, but it was a fictional whale.Hermione might have noticed the water under her feet starting to drain rather ominously.

Re: Face Your Villain
The water kept draining and a low grumbling came from the stomach. Then the whale decided to speak up. It was loud enough inside the mouth to be painful to hear.
