Thursday greeted the students inside the Danger Shop. Her arm was still in a sling.

"Good work last week. While Lord Vizzle lives on, you all performed admirably. This is our final class, and I would imagine the last class of the academic year for all of you. Thank you all for a memorable semester. I'm not teaching over Summer and I'm not certain at this stage if I'll be back in the Fall, so in case this is the last time I see any of you, best wishes for the future. I hope this class has been of some use to you. Let's get on to the final.

Your task is simple: walk through the door and you'll be faced with a villain from literary fiction or popular culture. Defeat them using whatever means necessary. You'll be graded on ingenuity and the effectiveness of your plan, so if you don't succeed in defeating them, it's still possible to obtain a good grade provided your approach is sound. Once you step through the door, there are no rules.

Z had no idea what he'd said, so she guessed. This was probably a bad idea. "Um, no?"

"Zarr." Stubbs was disappointed. So he decided to eat Z's brain. He made a swipe for her.

Z dodged the swipe. "Hey, whoa, can't we just get along?" she suggested.

Stubbs launched into an explanation about how a zombie had to eat and make more zombies, but if she wanted to try the dating thing instead, he'd be open to that.

It gave Z ample time to attack.

Z decided the time for talk was over and grabbed a chair, which she swung hard at Stubbs.

Stubbs caught the brunt of it and fell down.

He got back up again. You ain't never gonna keep him down, Danny Boy. At least, maybe not unless you listen to Shaun of the Dead advice.

Z hit him with the chair again. And wished her mun she had seen Shaun of the Dead.

That blow hit him in the head and seemed to daze him longer than the first blow. He twitched a little before trying to attack again. Hmm. Head injuries.
