Novice's Guide to Villains and Villainy - Friday, Period 3, Danger Shop
Thursday greeted the students inside the Danger Shop. Her arm was still in a sling.
"Good work last week. While Lord Vizzle lives on, you all performed admirably. This is our final class, and I would imagine the last class of the academic year for all of you. Thank you all for a memorable semester. I'm not teaching over Summer and I'm not certain at this stage if I'll be back in the Fall, so in case this is the last time I see any of you, best wishes for the future. I hope this class has been of some use to you. Let's get on to the final.
Your task is simple: walk through the door and you'll be faced with a villain from literary fiction or popular culture. Defeat them using whatever means necessary. You'll be graded on ingenuity and the effectiveness of your plan, so if you don't succeed in defeating them, it's still possible to obtain a good grade provided your approach is sound. Once you step through the door, there are no rules.
Good luck."

Re: Face Your Villain
"I don't want to incinerate most of the city, you fool, I want to destroy the key town features. Then they can rebuild and owe it all to me. Me! Then, as my power builds, I will shut off their power."
"Um, sir? We already did that part."
"Then I will restore their power only if they recognize my power. There will be no television, no wireless, no shining neon lights for the patrons of this town. Not without me. Smitty, kill the boy and get done with it. We have work to do."

Re: Face Your Villain
"People are lazy. And poor. Poor and lazy! They'll do what I tell them to! Smitty, deal with it!"
Smitty started towards Hamlet, but he was a weeny kind of guy with glasses.
Re: Face Your Villain
And so without a second thought, Hamlet launched forward to hit the other man.
Re: Face Your Villain
Smitty crumpled to the ground. Wimp.
The old man looked startled for a moment, then steepled his fingers together. "Excellent. Tell me, young man, are you interested in a job? Could I persuade you to be my new number two? There's a dental plan."
