Novice's Guide to Villains and Villainy - Friday, Period 3, Danger Shop

Thursday greeted the students inside the Danger Shop. Her arm was still in a sling.

"Good work last week. While Lord Vizzle lives on, you all performed admirably. This is our final class, and I would imagine the last class of the academic year for all of you. Thank you all for a memorable semester. I'm not teaching over Summer and I'm not certain at this stage if I'll be back in the Fall, so in case this is the last time I see any of you, best wishes for the future. I hope this class has been of some use to you. Let's get on to the final.

Your task is simple: walk through the door and you'll be faced with a villain from literary fiction or popular culture. Defeat them using whatever means necessary. You'll be graded on ingenuity and the effectiveness of your plan, so if you don't succeed in defeating them, it's still possible to obtain a good grade provided your approach is sound. Once you step through the door, there are no rules.

Luna carefully drew her wand from behind her ear, just in case.

She studied the room at a glance and stepped forward.

"What do you want?" Wizard No Heart huffed. "You're not one of their human minions, are you? Because no, I don't want a freaking hug!"

Luna raised an eyebrow. "I am the minion of none and I believe that I shall keep physical contact to a minimum if you please."

"Good. Now go away before I steal your heart."

"I am afraid I will not be able to oblige you today." Luna said. "Heart stealing is a horrible way to impress others, you know."

"I don't have to impress others. I can steal their hearts instead." He stood up from his throne and started towards Luna. "Last warning."

"Then let us proceed." Luna said, wand at the ready.

Wizard No Heart sent a blast of no-heartiness at Luna.

Luna put up a shield with protego, and shouted a full body binding curse.

Wizard Ho Neart barely missed the curse, but it was pretty obvious that his magic was meant to be used for offense rather than defense since he just fired off another few blasts instead of protecting himself.

Come on. The guy lost to a Care Bear stare.

Luna ducked and rolled. Coming back up on one knee she took aim at No Heart. A red light shot forth from her wand as she shouted, "Stupefy (http://www.hp-lexicon.org/magic/spells/spells_s.html#stupefy)!"

She waited to see if her spell had been successful.

That one caught him right in the chest. He dropped like a stone.

The room changed back to normal.
