Novice's Guide to Villains and Villainy - Friday, Period 3, Danger Shop

Thursday greeted the students inside the Danger Shop. Her arm was still in a sling.

"Good work last week. While Lord Vizzle lives on, you all performed admirably. This is our final class, and I would imagine the last class of the academic year for all of you. Thank you all for a memorable semester. I'm not teaching over Summer and I'm not certain at this stage if I'll be back in the Fall, so in case this is the last time I see any of you, best wishes for the future. I hope this class has been of some use to you. Let's get on to the final.

Your task is simple: walk through the door and you'll be faced with a villain from literary fiction or popular culture. Defeat them using whatever means necessary. You'll be graded on ingenuity and the effectiveness of your plan, so if you don't succeed in defeating them, it's still possible to obtain a good grade provided your approach is sound. Once you step through the door, there are no rules.

Good luck."

And now Tori was experiencing deja vu. Thankfully this time, she wasn't stuck in a camera.

Wondering what exactly had happened, Tori decided to search the village, hoping to find answers and something to help her situation.

Uh oh. That couldn't be good.

Tori was pretty sure she could hide from the man, but as for the cat? That was up for debate. She wondered if she could ninja streak past them without anyone noticing. It was worth a shot.

It had worked. Score!

Tori had managed to take shelter behind a rock. She wasn't so sure she liked being so small. Especially with such a large nemesis around.

It was obvious that her powers worked well, even in her current predicament. If the cat was to come around, it might just get wet. Tori created a ball of water just in case. It was currently hovering over her hand.

And Tori was ready for it. She had heard it, or rather felt it and it moved closer to her.

She moved out from behind the rock and sent a blast of water towards the cat, aiming for its face.

Tori felt bad about what happened, but she had to do it.

"Oh crap." She spotted the net and made a beeline for the trees, using her ninja speed to climb up one and finding a hiding spot.

Tori raised an eyebrow, having a pretty good feeling that he had no idea where she was.

She looked around and decided to ninja streak to another tree, hoping to avoid the carelessly swung net.

Well, frak.

Tori was now in a bag. She'd rather be back in the camera. Now how was she going to get out of this? Unless there was a small opening at the top of the bag...

Tori grinned when she saw the opening.

She closed her eyes and focused her energy on one goal. "I summon blue ninja power of the rising waters." Just like with the camera, the flow of water that had formed under Tori's feet, propelled her towards the top of the bag and over it, to the ground below.

Tori was glad he hadn't noticed. She wondered how to stop him from attempting to catch others like her.

She wondered if he had managed to take the occupants of the village or if they had hidden themselves.

Tori nodded. "I can try my best." She smiled slightly. "I'm not going to let him capture you. What can I do?"

"He can't, can he?" Tori smiled, wondering if there was a way to create a big enough source of water around the village that he wouldn't want to come back anytime soon. "Well, I have this power to control water." She explained, showing them by creating a swirl of water and twirling it around in the air for a moment. "If there's any way to make a pool of water or something near your village, maybe he won't want to come back?" But that might be somewhat difficult due to their size.

"Okay." Tori smiled brightly. "Is there's a good location to place the water?"

"I won't flood the village. But will it work if I flood the path? I don't want to hurt your home."
