Novice's Guide to Villains and Villainy - Friday, Period 3, Danger Shop
Thursday greeted the students inside the Danger Shop. Her arm was still in a sling.
"Good work last week. While Lord Vizzle lives on, you all performed admirably. This is our final class, and I would imagine the last class of the academic year for all of you. Thank you all for a memorable semester. I'm not teaching over Summer and I'm not certain at this stage if I'll be back in the Fall, so in case this is the last time I see any of you, best wishes for the future. I hope this class has been of some use to you. Let's get on to the final.
Your task is simple: walk through the door and you'll be faced with a villain from literary fiction or popular culture. Defeat them using whatever means necessary. You'll be graded on ingenuity and the effectiveness of your plan, so if you don't succeed in defeating them, it's still possible to obtain a good grade provided your approach is sound. Once you step through the door, there are no rules.
Good luck."

Re: Face Your Villain
Re: Face Your Villain
The witch, for she was a witch and not just your everyday brand of crazy old lady, spun around, eyes wide. "Hah! One of his. Not mine, I don't have mine, there's only me! You must be one of his. You'll have to go!" She stomped around looking for something to throw at River and when she found a bag of dust, she tried blowing it at her.

"Just as bad!" There was a magical sound effect and the hut suddenly bulged. The sound of an elephant trumpeted throughout the wood. Then it pushed down the far wall and came looking for River. "There you are!" the lady-turned-elephant bellowed.

Re: Face Your Villain
The elephant certainly didn't expect that. In frustration, she changed. The trunk became a horn and the elephant became a rhinocerous. She stamped her feet and tried to charge River and ram her against the remains of the hut.
Re: Face Your Villain
She didn't like magic. Too unpredictable. Still, no time to dwell on that. She looked for the cauldron that had been inside the hut.
Re: Face Your Villain
The former rhino that was now a dragon didn't like that one bit. "Oh no you don't!" She took a deep breath, aiming a stream of fire in River's direction.

Re: Face Your Villain
The dragon lady didn't like that. The cauldron protected River and when she looked up again, she would have seen the crazy old bird turned into...well, a bird.
Re: Face Your Villain
Re: Face Your Villain
The crazy bird lady tried to swoop in and peck at River.

The solution, however, had been reached and the room changed back to normal.
