Novice's Guide to Villains and Villainy - Friday, Period 3, Danger Shop
Thursday greeted the students inside the Danger Shop. Her arm was still in a sling.
"Good work last week. While Lord Vizzle lives on, you all performed admirably. This is our final class, and I would imagine the last class of the academic year for all of you. Thank you all for a memorable semester. I'm not teaching over Summer and I'm not certain at this stage if I'll be back in the Fall, so in case this is the last time I see any of you, best wishes for the future. I hope this class has been of some use to you. Let's get on to the final.
Your task is simple: walk through the door and you'll be faced with a villain from literary fiction or popular culture. Defeat them using whatever means necessary. You'll be graded on ingenuity and the effectiveness of your plan, so if you don't succeed in defeating them, it's still possible to obtain a good grade provided your approach is sound. Once you step through the door, there are no rules.
Good luck."

Re: Face Your Villain
"I'm afraid not," the second man, the Ripper said in a throaty voice. "You see, Whitechapel needs to be cleansed and only the pure of heart are willing to see it through."

"Pure of heart, pure of faith and the only ones who see this hive of filth for what it truly is." They started to close in on her.

The two men hadn't been expecting this kind of resistance. The guide got the full brunt of the fireball. The other man, Jack the Ripper himself, reacted against his flight instinct and attacked with the scalpel.
Against a sword.
Yeah.

Alanna had the upper hand. Jack the Ripper fell with one strike. The fireballed guy on the other hand was back up, lunging at Alanna.

Re: Face Your Villain
Fireball Guy was not very smart or nimble. He couldn't stop the charge forward before he caught himself on Lightning. A choke and a gurgle later and he was dead.
The room reverted to its normal form. Thursday was waiting for Alanna. "Congratulations. You dealt with them quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, Jack the Ripper was historically meant to go to kill two more women over the next year. His premature death saved those women, but set off a chain of events that irrecoverably changed the future timeline."
