"How's it going, Angel?" asked Janet, putting away the library card applications. Thankfully, she was almost done with them.

Zero staggers into the library, clutching a cup of coffee like a lifeline. "Why am I awake? I don't have class until this afternoon. I must be insane. That's it. Yeah." She stares mournfully at her coffee.

"Why are you here this early?" asked Janet. She grinned at Zero and offered her chocolate covered espresso beans. "Hey, I haven't seen you since the dance. I loved your band."

The library is CLOSED during the lunch hour so we can eat. Hah!

Janet is counting the days until they can confront Belthazor about more overdue library books. And she's also checking other people's library books back in.

Rory meandered into the library after fourth period, and sleepily took her place behind the desk.

Sixth Period

Janet is doodling on her spiral. If the doodles look like DNA and complicated genetic diagrams, and there are equations and chemical notations in her notebook, pay no attention. She's certainly going to close it up if you come near so you can't see it anyway.

With time to spare before 7th period History, Isabel wandered into the library looking for information on ancient Greek art a supply of trashy romance novels. "Hi Janet!"

Seventh Period

Almost done with the day. All pretense of work is done and Janet is reading for fun. It just looks like her fun reading might be schoolwork.

Janet suddenly remembers that she has History of Western Civ right now and runs out the door. Hopefully the Librarian or another library assistant is around to cover. Otherwise, the library is locked up and closed.

"Excuse me, My name is Pippi Longstocking and I got a message that there was a book waiting for me?"
