"Hey, Isabel!" exclaimed Janet. She closed up her spiral and pretended not to act like a mad scientist grinned at her. "How're you doing?"

"Pretty good. Did you hear the election results? I actually won." It's apparent that she'd pretty thrilled even if she's trying to play it cool.

"Oh, congratulations!" exclaimed Janet. "That's great! You'll be with some other really good students. Liz Weir--one of the junior reps--is one of my roommates."

Isabel nodded, "I met Liz last weekend. She seemed really nice. Actually I know just about everyone on the council except the freshman. Would you believe I've only met one of them so far?"

She leaned on the counter, "Of course now the elections are over, it means the work starts. I want to try and organize game nights. What do you think? Up for some Monopoly or Trivial Pursuit?"

"Liz is great. For someone I met just at the start of last semester, we've gotten really close." She frowned, thinking. "That's right, we have freshmen now. I think we only had one last semester."

"Game nights sound like entirely too much fun," said Janet, grinning. "Both of those games sound good. We should try finding people for Clue as well. So. Many. Movie. Quotes."

"I was worried when I came here that I wouldn't meet people. Or at least I wouldn't meet people that I'd want to spend time with. It's so hard when you have to keep secrets. But just about everyone I've met has been great so far."

Isabel looked thoughtful. "Clue could be interesting. We were actually thinking of doing a game night a month, Monopoly and Trivial Pursuit, and then we thought about doing a Risk night and a casino night. The idea was to try to offer something for everyone. But Clue could be fun as well. Is sad, never saw the movie. Or played the game for that matter. I guess it all depends on how much time we're willing to put into it. And how many nights I want to not sleep.

"It's hard not to meet people," said Janet. "Though I can understand why you were worried. I totally understand about the secrets. Isn't it good to find out you didn't have to be, though?"

"That sounds like a good pace for it," said Janet. "And it sounds like you have some fun games planned already. Oh, it's such fun. Just ignore my suggestion if it doesn't work for you."

"Oh absolutely. As for Clue, let's see how things work out. Help me figure out how to run an OCD for it. If the game nights are successful maybe we'll have to do more. Either that or we could always grab some people and play in the common room one night."

Isabel looked at her watch, "It's almost time for History. But before we go though, can you point me in the direction of some fiction? Prefereably brain candy stuff? All the reading for Western Lit is killing me. I need fluff to counteract it."

"Sure, no problem. I love coming up with OCD threads. I'm so sad. And that's a good point on the additional game nights. Though if you have a lot of people, you're going to have to split everyone up into teams so the threads don't get choked."

"Fiction?" asked Janet. It had been a while since she'd read fiction. "What kind of brain candy? Mystery, science fiction, fantasy, or romance?"

"I figured as much. these threads are going to be insane. I figured if we have several sets of each game we can set up multiple tables or something."

"No Sci-Fi for me. I live it on a daily basis. I need romance, splashy, trashy romance. I think it's the only thing to counteract the serious reading for class."
