Parker is very slightly hungover. Plus, she just heard the Dean's announcement.

This would not be a good time to mess with the library aide. She is wondering if Rory and Logan are awake, hoping they're not, and wishing she had her holy water handgun right now as she checks the card catalog for books on magical protection from vampires.

Marty comes into the Library and settles down at one of the open tables and starts going through some of his homework that needs to be handed in before the break.

[CJ stops in to see Adam, and notices Marty.] Hey, trouble.

Parker approaches Marty, looking very, very unhappy.

"Do you believe this crap?"

[CJ walks in, looking around for Adam. She doesn't look to comfortable.]

Parker nods to C.J. from the card catalog. "He's not here yet, Professor Cregg." Her mouth twitches. "Uh. I mean, how can I help you?"

After dealing with all the usual morning needs back in John's room (http://www.livejournal.com/users/whitedeathpod/27012.html) Angel went to the library.

He scanned the room, looking for Parker.

Parker turns around from goign through the card catalog, and freezes.

*As if out of nowhere, a tiny pink kitten attacks the hell out of Angel's left leg.*

Janet walks into the library, sees Angel being attacked by Zero and Parker griping, and decides she doesn't want to deal with the mess. So she goes behind the Collections Desk and starts drinking her coffee.

Kawalsky returned from the shelves. He glanced at the stand-off between the pink cat, Parker and Angelus.. or Angel, whoever he was.. and instead turned his attention to Janet. He had So You Want To Write An Essay! by Dr Brain, Essay Writing For Dummies and On Writing by Stephen King. "Hey Janet," Charlie said. "Can I get these books out?"

Janet yawned and popped a couple of ibuprofin "Next time you plan on getting in a screaming fight in the library, Parker, could you think of other people and not do it?" she muttered, ignoring the vicious discussion going on not-too-far away and pulling out a notebook to work on her independent study instead.

In fear of another being-chased-by-Zero-with-a-mallet scene, Camerno headed down to the library to renew the book he'd borrowed. He looked a bit wary as he noticed the arguing going on, but it seemed that Angel was doing alright so instead her head for where Janet was sitting.

*Currently having the typical kittenish attention span, Zero gets distracted by the smell of coffee, which she hasn't had since Thursday, and begins attempting to crawl into Janet's cup.*

Susan wanders in and eyes the shelves almost warily, before approaching the desk. "When do we hear about the new library assistant position?"

Janet grins ruefully. "Probably some time after Professor Pierson comes back from being MIA again. He hasn't been in all day."

Afternoon

*Zero is lounging on the desk, sleeping off the last of her 'nip high, when suddenly, with a loud pop, the kitten is replaced by the girl. She glances around warily.*

Did that really just happen?
