The Library is open (11/21/2005)

Parker is very slightly hungover. Plus, she just heard the Dean's announcement.

This would not be a good time to mess with the library aide. She is wondering if Rory and Logan are awake, hoping they're not, and wishing she had her holy water handgun right now as she checks the card catalog for books on magical protection from vampires.

Parker nods to C.J. from the card catalog. "He's not here yet, Professor Cregg." Her mouth twitches. "Uh. I mean, how can I help you?"

Marty looks up from his book and gives CJ a weak smile.

"Trouble? me? Why does everyone think I'm trouble?"

[She steps back a few paces and approaches him again, sitting on the table beside him.]

Parker bites her lower lip. "Well...." She nods as she rolls her eyes. "I thought he would've told you that I gave him a hard time about it, last week. Not that it's not good," she said hastily. "Just, he really thought he was being subtle. And, uh. Not so much. At all."

He scanned the room, looking for Parker.

It was. I had a lot of fun...until Saturday night when I had to go to Mr. Phale's. That sucked. But...I got lots of stuff and made new friends, so that was good.

"Ahh. Lovely. Hang on, let me see...." She types in a few words, frowns, then points to the shelves. "Check the 420's. Need any help finding that? And you might want to grab Stephen King's On Writing. He's got some good tips."

"Nah, it's cool. I'll have a look. Thanks." He headed to the shelves to take a look around.

Ten minutes later he returned with two generic books on essay writing, plus King's book.

Blinking, Parker says, "I ... very seriously doubt that. I mean, not the way he was mooning around here on Thursday." She shakes her head. "I didn't see him over the weekend, but, please believe me, Professor. He isn't one to put up with the crap Zero and Janet and I gave him without a good reason."

Angel had been intending to give Parker some kind of respectful and non-threatening greeting.

Then he was attacked by a vicious hot pink something the size of a Hostess Sno-Ball.

He tried to take a step back to dislodge the kitty. "Um?"
