Parker is very slightly hungover. Plus, she just heard the Dean's announcement.

This would not be a good time to mess with the library aide. She is wondering if Rory and Logan are awake, hoping they're not, and wishing she had her holy water handgun right now as she checks the card catalog for books on magical protection from vampires.

He scanned the room, looking for Parker.

Parker turns around from goign through the card catalog, and freezes.

Angel had been intending to give Parker some kind of respectful and non-threatening greeting.

Then he was attacked by a vicious hot pink something the size of a Hostess Sno-Ball.

He tried to take a step back to dislodge the kitty. "Um?"

Parker made a grab for Zero, and told him, "You kick her, and you lose the leg, asshole." She knelt down, reaching for Zero. "Come here! At least I can lift you up to where you can reach his face!"

*suddenly glances up at Parker* Maw? Preet.

"I totally agree. Now back off, so I can give this creep a piece of my mind too." She picks up Zero, and holds her close.

"You are not welcome here. Library card or not."

Angel tried to take another step backward. He had no intention of kicking the kitty as that could lead to being bitten. He didn't know what hot pink Sno-Ball spit could do to a vampire, but neither did he want to find out.

"That is a cat, right?" he asked of no one in particular. "The gremlins didn't suddenly get furry and disturbingly adorable?"

"No, it's Zero." Parker gives him a dark look. "Who happens to be a cat, for the moment. Why are you *here*?" She asks, making sure she has a good grip on her transformed and ferally cute friend.

Angel kept a respectful distance. He had a mental image of Zero launching herself directly for his face and that was the kind of thing he'd rather stayed a mental image.
