There was a tall, military-looking redhead - better known to most as Lieutenant Kerrigan - in a sleek metal suit tapping her foot against the floor of the Danger Shop and looking just this side of incredibly annoyed.

"Listen, children, you're obviously here because you did something incredibly stupid. Today, I am going to show - not tell - you how incredibly dumb that is, and how incredibly dead you are going to be should you do something stupid again. Shut up, don't talk, and get the hell into the sim before I personally decide to nail your butts to the wall."

She pointed at a projector on the wall.

"If your name's not on there, get the hell out of my Danger Shop. If it is and you're not here, then I'm talking to thin air and I'll hunt you down myself. GET!"

Stupid people brought out the military in her.

In front of the gate, two marines are standing around babbling about the weather. They look like they might be doing something stupid, soon.

It's an empty wasteland full of things trying to kill you. And you've got a gun. Kerrigan feels it's not a difficult equation.

Edward eyed the gun uncomfortably as he moved out into the empty areas. "Stupid detention with the stupid teacher and I totally had reading to do today," he muttered, keeping an eye out, but not necessarily ready for an attack.

Now that he was through the gate, Lee raised his gun and started walking through the area as quietly as he could. Maybe no one would hear him.

Ino's first few steps onto the wasteland were tentative. She was tempted just to leave the gun and go on without it - a weapon she couldn't use would only hinder her. "Point and shoot." She studied the gun, "I wonder how much damage it does?"

And what was out here that the made the men think she'd need it.

On this deserted field of rocks, there is a very large flood of creepy crawlies with very large claws coming at you. This may not be entirely healthy.

Emerging from the oddly placed lunchroom, Ed eyed the creepy crawlies warily and started looking around for a way out of this. "Hate deserts. Always have. Stupid barren things."

This is a dark place strangely reminiscent of a police interrogation room. Except for the fancy LEDs doing their sparkly futuristic thing, and the three aliens sitting around drinking alien tea. Despite not having a mouth.
