There was a tall, military-looking redhead - better known to most as Lieutenant Kerrigan - in a sleek metal suit tapping her foot against the floor of the Danger Shop and looking just this side of incredibly annoyed.

"Listen, children, you're obviously here because you did something incredibly stupid. Today, I am going to show - not tell - you how incredibly dumb that is, and how incredibly dead you are going to be should you do something stupid again. Shut up, don't talk, and get the hell into the sim before I personally decide to nail your butts to the wall."

She pointed at a projector on the wall.

Stupid people brought out the military in her.

Ino left the lunch area full but unhappy. She doubted that was going to change.

"I hate detention." She said, "I hate sand, and dirt, and giant creepy ass bug-things"

If she were paying attention, she might notice a distinct earthquake-like quality to the ground beneath her feet. And a gathering of dust off in the distance.

Seeing the dust clouds in the distance, and then the ground beginning to shake a bit under her feet, Ino knew she'd been right.

The only thing to do was run as far away as possible. Gathering up her chakra, Ino took off.

The very large army of Zerg bounded happily after her like a group of spectacularly murderous-looking canines.

A quick glance back over her shoulder made the day just that much worse. Her gun was going to be useless against that many of the bugs. Ino ditched it - it was only weighting her down - and sped up.

The gun got trampled under the weight of several Hydralisks barely half a minute after being left behind. There was plenty of space to run, yet - but all paths looked to end in the valley up ahead.

Like driving cattle.

Like cattle or not, Ino didn't see that she had much choice in the matter. She just kept running, even though she was getting low on chakra and her breathing was ragged.

What had she done to deserve this?!

There were Zerg everywhere.

And then there was a very bright, white light.

Nothing living remained but Ino and, presumably, whatever rested aboard the large spaceship above.

... that was creepy. Just a bit. Ino slumped to the ground to catch her breath.

A quick look around proved that she could either go back the way she'd came - and that wasn't an option with all of those bugs, ugh - or head into the spaceship.

Ino stood and headed towards it.
