There was a tall, military-looking redhead - better known to most as Lieutenant Kerrigan - in a sleek metal suit tapping her foot against the floor of the Danger Shop and looking just this side of incredibly annoyed.

"Listen, children, you're obviously here because you did something incredibly stupid. Today, I am going to show - not tell - you how incredibly dumb that is, and how incredibly dead you are going to be should you do something stupid again. Shut up, don't talk, and get the hell into the sim before I personally decide to nail your butts to the wall."

She pointed at a projector on the wall.

"I didn't do anything," he said quickly. "I was trying to help some marines at the front gate and then there were needles and things chasing me and I was just want to go home and sleep!"

What were these Terran marines engaged in? the Judicator demanded.

You must really learn to 'chill' as the Terrans say, Judicator, Fenix remarked. His face looked as if he was attempting to roll his eyeballs.

Silence, young Zealot! Zeratul called, Do not put your great leader in such disgrace!

You want my 'great leader' to die at the hands of abominations far fouler than the Zerg, Fenix replied, You told me last week.

"They were standing outside a gate," Lee said. "And they asked me to give them an all clear. I didn't get a chance to do that."

I am hesitant to inform you of this, young Terran, the Judicator informed him without much hesitation, I fear your brothers have fallen in battle with the abominous Zerg. We will offer you all the assistance we can.

I feel you are composing words entirely of hot air, Judicator, Fenix muttered, inasfar as one could psychically mutter.

Zeratul shot him a Look. Feel free to accompany us on our journey home, he told Lee.

You are in no position to make bargains, Dark One! the Judicator declared hotly.

Fenix facepalmed.

"Uh, I really can't leave," Lee said, grimacing. "I appreciate the offer but I should really stay here and...honor my fallen friends."

Are you certain? Aiur embraces the brave, the Judicator spoke with great pride.

You 'flip-flop' more often than a Republican senator, Fenix told him.

The Judicator blinked. ...What is this 'Republican' you speak of?

Never mind, Fenix returned, In your heart, you are well aware.

"Yeah, I'm certain," Lee said, trying not to sound amused at the bickering. "But thanks for the offer. I appreciate your help."

The Protoss aid all against the Zerg, Zeratul spoke, with great weight to his words.

Unless it's inconvenient, Fenix added.

You may never speak to Raynor again, the Judicator informed him.

We will be pleased to give you free passageway to whatever your destination may be, Zeratul continued, unhindered.

He couldn't help the smile from escaping this time.

"Just back where I came from. A safe place," he added. "Where there are no needles and stuff."

Very well, the Judicator spoke, You may return home.

He waved vaguely at a large, glowy door that opened beside him.

Show-off, Fenix declared.

What?

"Thanks," Lee said, almost laughing now. But he slipped through the door before they could hear and keep him there.
