There was a tall, military-looking redhead - better known to most as Lieutenant Kerrigan - in a sleek metal suit tapping her foot against the floor of the Danger Shop and looking just this side of incredibly annoyed.

"Listen, children, you're obviously here because you did something incredibly stupid. Today, I am going to show - not tell - you how incredibly dumb that is, and how incredibly dead you are going to be should you do something stupid again. Shut up, don't talk, and get the hell into the sim before I personally decide to nail your butts to the wall."

She pointed at a projector on the wall.

"If your name's not on there, get the hell out of my Danger Shop. If it is and you're not here, then I'm talking to thin air and I'll hunt you down myself. GET!"

Stupid people brought out the military in her.

That was about as likely as a needle not soaring right past his head the moment he thought that.

Which it did. The Hydralisk standing proudly behind him might have seemed oddly familiar. It remembered Lee, at any rate.

"Frakking frak frak frak," Lee muttered twisting around and firing off a shot. "Frakking needles, I hate you."

The shot caught the Hydra straight up in the head, just above the vital functions. It really, really disliked this particular Terran.

Giving up on the distant approach, it quite literally threw itself at Lee.

"What the frak?!" Lee shouted, trying to twist out of the way of the thing hurtling at him. He was able to avoid getting tackled but the Hydra did catch him on the shoulder, spinning him around and off balance.

He managed to make a few wild shots while spinning and stumbling.

The Hydralisk screeched as it barreled on by, bullets tearing giant holes in its side. It swooped around to the side, making a lot of noise and firing another needle in Lee's general direction.

Its aim might have been somewhat off.

"Stop shooting needles at me!" Lee yelled, finally finding his balance and spraying fire at the legs of the Hydra. "It's really frakking annoying!"

The Hydra smacked back down to earth again, its support gone. That made twice, now. It glared at Lee a lot.

"Don't glare at me!" Lee stomped around the Hydra, making sure it wasn't going to get up and tackle him. "I should find those stupid needles and throw them at you."

The Hydra was healing right back up again fine, thanks. It was just resting on the ground a little.

It spit a needle at Lee from its prone position. Simply out of spite.

"Oh, frak you," Lee said after narrowly avoiding the needle. If it could still shoot, it could still walk.

So, Lee aimed the gun and shot at the frakking thing's head.

The Hydralisk's head exploded.

Again.

"Oh yay robot guts," Lee said and glared at the exploded Hydra before setting off again.
