Janet unlocked the library, slammed her bookbag on the floor behind the desk, and started making a list of overdue books.

Sam staggered klutzily into the library, her arms full of her laptop, some notebooks and loose paper, and two physics textbooks. She dropped everything on the nearest table with a *thud* and pulled the pencil out of her mouth, prepared to get down to some serious equations.

Janet waved at Sam and stared angrily at the list of students with overdue books. She tapped her foot energetically against the floor. "Planning some fun?" asked Janet, nodding at the books, but frowning.

"Sort of," Sam said, "But it can wait. You look like you've got something on your mind."

Elizabeth followed Janet into the library, before catching sight of the clock.

"Damnit, I'm supposed to be in Speech now," she said.

"Go to class," said Janet. "I'll be fine. Really."

Elizabeth moved around the desk to hug Janet briefly. "I'll be back afterwards," she promised.

Evelyn entered the library quietly, but when she saw Janet's obvious anger, she decided not to approach her at this moment and instead selected a table and started working on her homework.

Janet waved at Evie. She'd check up on her later and make sure she was okay.

Evelyn waved back then looked back at her notes, her eyes blurring them out.

Rory enters the library quietly, and takes a seat, waiting for Janet to notice her.

Parker stops by. "So. Your boyfriend. How many pieces do you want his body in?"

"Hey," says Janet, later. "Sorry. I'm sure you've heard about the firestorm of controversy that was Ethics class today. It kind of ate into my time--and temper." She mustered a grin. "Didn't want to come and talk until I'd calmed down."

He looked around warily.

Methos intercepts Angelus rapidly, with an alarmed look at Janet. "I'm sorry to take you from your day, but I wanted to speak to you as soon as possible."

Elizabeth returned to the library, and headed to the fiction shelves in the stacks, lightly dancing her fingers across spines; occassionally hovering over a book, before pulling back and continuing on.

Eventually she pulls one out with a small smile, and taking a seat, opens it and begins to read.

Janet grabbed her backpack and gestured Sam and Parker toward Professor Methos' office.

She closed the door behind all three of them, locked it, then pulled her laptop out of her backpack and started music playing.

"There," she said. "That should add confusing background noise."

Parker grimaced. "I'm going to have to pull out my white noise generator again, aren't I? Damnit. And I thought I wouldn't have a reason to use it after the goddamn election."

*she's happy to see it's looking much less zombie-rific than when she was last in here...*

The library seemed in better shape than last time D'anna had been there after zombie weekend on Professor Jerusalem's field trip. She walked up to the desk, "Professor Pierson?"
