After his meeting with Bristow (http://www.livejournal.com/users/dean_bristow/7553.html?thread=166273#t166273) Angelus came by the library to track down Prof. Pierson.
Methos intercepts Angelus rapidly, with an alarmed look at Janet. "I'm sorry to take you from your day, but I wanted to speak to you as soon as possible."
"No problem," Angelus put his hands into his coat pockets, projecting an attitude of patience that didn't match the way his eyes were taking in any scrap of information they could to help him process this situation. "Had a minute. Always happy to fulfill a faculty request."
Curses. Parker was right. This kid is dangerous. "Well, in this case it's more of a faculty apology. What happened here a few days ago when you came in for your card was poorly done, and I apologize for that."
"A few loud discussions with my library staff. Which revealed, among other things, that the handwriting on the note that was attached to your card was a forgery. Janet Fraiser," with a nod to where she was sitting behind the collections desk, "did not write it."
Are you allowed to have loud discussions in a library?
"Huh," Angelus glanced at Janet, then put his gaze back on Prof. Pierson. "Can't say that doesn't clear up some confusion on my part. Far as I was aware Janet and I never crossed paths. I hate having sworn enemies when I can't remember swearing."
"No," Angelus said, "someone singling me out like that suggests they consider me to be their sworn enemy. Though I agree that on a scale of 'I'm not touching you' to 'Rain of fire' opting for 'I've restricted your library access' is a little lame on the revenge scale. No offense to your chosen profession, of course."
"So what's the new policy?" Angelus asked. "I assume nobody is allowed in Special Collections, but is there a new rule on banning students specifically?"
"I promise you, when we have new guidelines in place, the students will be the first to know. We wantt o make sure that everyone has an equal chance to pursue their education. Special Collections will not be closed indefinitely."
"Okay," Angelus took a seat opposite from her. "I like long walks on the beach, ballet, art, and fine wine. Turn offs include bad fashion and attempts to force me to get a tan."
[ooc: losing battle against migraine. going down for a nap, will be back later]
Yeah, I guess tans aren't really your thing. ::chews on her lower lip a bit more:: I just wanted to check up on you, I guess. A lot of people want to just slander you cause of what you are, and I wanted to know the real deal.
Frak, I'd almost say most people are just being jealous, that's all. And I wanted you to know that I'm not gonna hold anything that you are against you. ::nods::
*scratches her forehead* Thanks. So, what did you do before coming to school here? Like, I mean, where you are from and stuff, 'cause I know people around here seem to be from all over the 'verse...
"Before here I was in another dimension which is a lot like this one if you take the craziness of Fandom High and apply it over the entire planet," Angelus slumped down comfortably in his chair. "Specifically a 'burg called Sunnydale, California, which was right on top of a Hellmouth."

::scratches her nose:: I don't know whether you're lucky to be used to it, or unlucky to come from a place like that...
