"How about same in reverse?" Angelus invited. "Where are you from and why are you here? Though - " he gave her a grin " - if you say at the library to read books I will put a pouty face on."

Well, as much as I'd like to see your pouty face, I'll play fair. *grin*

I'm from Caprica, which is one of the twelve colonies. There's a couple other colonists around, so I'm sure you've met at least one other at some point. I'm from a city called Oasis, which is just outside of the capitol, Caprica City, but that's kinda just boring details, anyways.

As for coming here, well, I got an anonymous scholarship, actually. And since my folks had been having money issues, and it involved coming to a planet that I thought was a myth, I couldn't really turn it down.

"Ah, see," Angelus pointed at her. "Cultural differences. You say 'colony' and I think New World. Though I guess as far as planets are concerned that's not actually inaccurate."

See, this is why we should all sit down and talk these things out like cool people, rather than being all "Oh no, that person talks funny or has gay weird hair or something, and we should shun them forever."

Cause we all just need to explain things out, and everyone can find out they're more similar than they think.

"Friends," Angelus offered his hand out in return. "Careful, I'm not as warm as you'd expect."

Yeah, I know. *looks down at her book, and then back up at Angelus* Well, I don't want to take up any more of your time. I'm sure you've got plenty of important things to do today.

*bites her lower lip, and then leans over to whisper*

But you could do me a favor, and next time you and Beka do something together, give her a big kiss from me, okay?

*sits back in her chair, half-blushing, half-smirking*
