Janet unlocked the library, slammed her bookbag on the floor behind the desk, and started making a list of overdue books.

Elizabeth followed Janet into the library, before catching sight of the clock.

"Damnit, I'm supposed to be in Speech now," she said.

"Go to class," said Janet. "I'll be fine. Really."

Elizabeth moved around the desk to hug Janet briefly. "I'll be back afterwards," she promised.

Parker handed Janet another book, then wrote a note when Angelus came in.

Joy unparalleled. I know he was behind Echoll's idea of 'vampire support'. Think Callisto will be mad if I kill him before she can?

Janet took the book and wrote a note back to Parker.

Of course he was behind it. Vampire support? Think I'll stay away from that platform. Pity Callisto. He'll probably make her compliment his poofy hair.

"Cam's had a book out for nine days now," said Janet mildly. "He'd better get it back soon."
