Escape Artistry: Week 2, Period 3 (Thurs. 07/17)

When students entered the Danger Shop, they'd find themselves transported to the lush, green bank of a huge river. The water in front of them was deep. How deep? Let's stick with very. The water was also dark, meaning if students looked very closely they might chance to see the shadow of creatures lurking beneath the surface. Tied to the riverbank was a large raft with 20 oars, 5 bags of food, and 5 bags of medicine. Should any students be blessed with super sight, they might be able to see the massive rocks dotting the path to the other side through the dense fog that hung in the air.

Again, Ronon was standing in front of the scene, not looking particularly pleased while he waited for the majority of students to show up.

"Everybody on the raft!" Ronon's voice boomed above any chatting that may have been taking place. "Each of you will take a turn guiding us across the river. Try not to kill anyone or lose your supplies and we'll call it a good escape."

Michael eyed the raft with some disgruntlement. Nobody had said anything about rowing.

Rodney looked at the raft and then at the river. Then, he looked at the raft again. "I've got a bad feeling about this."

Andrew's heart sank a little as he slowly made his way onto the raft. He really hadn't wanted to be responsible for drowning his class, but felt it was pretty inevitable at this point.

Jaina was peering at the water interestedly. She'd sort of done something like this once, only without creatures in the water, and without the boat. Also, she hadn't been able to see it then. So this was still new.

What's going on here is Oregon Trail. Each student pings in INDIVIDUALLY as leader of the raft and will have a totally different scenario of death, loss of food, and loss of medicine as Ronon pings back. (And yes, everyone is on one raft just so there are people to kill off in a totally pretend way.)
