Escape Artistry: Week 2, Period 3 (Thurs. 07/17)
When students entered the Danger Shop, they'd find themselves transported to the lush, green bank of a huge river. The water in front of them was deep. How deep? Let's stick with very. The water was also dark, meaning if students looked very closely they might chance to see the shadow of creatures lurking beneath the surface. Tied to the riverbank was a large raft with 20 oars, 5 bags of food, and 5 bags of medicine. Should any students be blessed with super sight, they might be able to see the massive rocks dotting the path to the other side through the dense fog that hung in the air.
Again, Ronon was standing in front of the scene, not looking particularly pleased while he waited for the majority of students to show up.
"Everybody on the raft!" Ronon's voice boomed above any chatting that may have been taking place. "Each of you will take a turn guiding us across the river. Try not to kill anyone or lose your supplies and we'll call it a good escape."

ETA: Use of any and all powers is totally fair game.]

"Okay, everyone," he said just loudly enough to be heard. "Let's take this slow and easy and try not to attract their attention anymore than we already have." Upon seeing the first boulders, Rodney directed the raft towards a gap that looked big enough for it to safely pass. Hopefully, it would stay that way.

The side of the raft scraped along a rock, slowly and easily, a bag of food rolling toward the edge of the raft. Hey, at least the crew was following directions.

Meanwhile, a line of rocks appeared out of thin air, blocking the route to shore.

One crew member was suddenly and inexplicably overwhelmed with depression.
Another was lost.

The lost crew member found his way back to the raft, not knowing where he'd been or why.
The raft, meanwhile, continued across the murky river.

The depressed kid sighed and joined the others in rowing again, bitching that he probably had scurvy from this venture.
Ronon was standing on the shore, waiting for them to disembark and not looking too pleased with Rodney.
