Escape Artistry: Week 2, Period 3 (Thurs. 07/17)

When students entered the Danger Shop, they'd find themselves transported to the lush, green bank of a huge river. The water in front of them was deep. How deep? Let's stick with very. The water was also dark, meaning if students looked very closely they might chance to see the shadow of creatures lurking beneath the surface. Tied to the riverbank was a large raft with 20 oars, 5 bags of food, and 5 bags of medicine. Should any students be blessed with super sight, they might be able to see the massive rocks dotting the path to the other side through the dense fog that hung in the air.

Again, Ronon was standing in front of the scene, not looking particularly pleased while he waited for the majority of students to show up.

"Everybody on the raft!" Ronon's voice boomed above any chatting that may have been taking place. "Each of you will take a turn guiding us across the river. Try not to kill anyone or lose your supplies and we'll call it a good escape."

Swearing, Gwen grabbed at the bags.

Gwen was normally the very soul of empathy and compassion. Gwen was also a very narked off teenager. "Right," she said, putting down what was left of the bags, and grabbing the rower who'd been the loudest grumbler and slowest off the mark. "This is what happens to people who put everyone else at risk."

She threw him off the raft.

"Row! Row, you suicidal bastards!" She'd grow out of this phase eventually.

Gwen meanwhile was wondering if piranhas liked the taste of attractive, possibly sadistic teachers.

What a coincidence. Neither did Gwen.

"One of my own wouldn't be putting everyone else's lives in danger for no good reason," Gwen replied, before trying to push Ronon into the river.

Sadly, given her lack of a convenient taser or forklift, this probably wasn't that successful.

Gwen swore. Inventively.
