When students entered the Danger Shop, they'd find themselves transported to the lush, green bank of a huge river. The water in front of them was deep. How deep? Let's stick with very. The water was also dark, meaning if students looked very closely they might chance to see the shadow of creatures lurking beneath the surface. Tied to the riverbank was a large raft with 20 oars, 5 bags of food, and 5 bags of medicine. Should any students be blessed with super sight, they might be able to see the massive rocks dotting the path to the other side through the dense fog that hung in the air.

Again, Ronon was standing in front of the scene, not looking particularly pleased while he waited for the majority of students to show up.

"Everybody on the raft!" Ronon's voice boomed above any chatting that may have been taking place. "Each of you will take a turn guiding us across the river. Try not to kill anyone or lose your supplies and we'll call it a good escape."

"You've got a bad feeling about everything, Meredith."

That doesn't mean I'm wrong," Rodney shot back.

"Well, logically, you have to be wrong a LOT of the time, since there's usually nothing to feel bad about. You worry too much."

"That's what you think," he scoffed. "In my experience, disaster is usually just that far away." He held up a hand with less than an inch between his thumb and index finger to demonstrate.

"Which you can tell from the HUGE number of disasters we have around here," Sokka scoffed back.

Rodney stared at his roommate. "Yes. Exactly."

"Two or three a year isn't all that much!" Sokka protested.

"Even one is too many!" Rodney exclaimed. "And that's not even counting all the random craziness. I mean, hello, pirates?"

"You don't like the pirates?" Sokka asked. "I mean, seriously, PIRATES! How cool is that?!?!"

"It's not cool when they're attacking us and looting our stuff," he pointed out.

"You are the very model of a modern major general," Sokka muttered.

Yeah, he didn't know what he meant, either, but it sounded good.

"Whatever." Rodney wasn't going to ask.
