Dead zombies litter the ground (at the library -- yes, still)

The first wave seems to have subsided. Methos lowers his sword so the tip is touching the ground. Bloody streaks down the outside of his sweater.

Small puddles of flame flare here and there mark charred zombie bodies.

Mustang, sweaty and smelling like smoke and ash, starts looking around for anything still burning. Every time he finds a flame he removes the oxygen from the air around the fire, extinguishing it.

Some of them are still hot to the touch, however, and would be dangerous to move.

Rogue tries to organize those able to move the deader bodies around. "Okay, if you're alive, and you're not wounded, up here!" She motions to the zombies. "If it twitches, shoot it. If it doesn't, pile them in front of the door. Make sure you can get back in afterward, though." She starts hauling the dead things toward the door.

Reversing her staff back into the tiny inch-tall "portable" version of itself, Sakura replaces it around her neck and aids Rogue in moving the "dead" zombies toward the door.

Roy finds a corner and sits, head back against the wall. He doesn't plan to move for several hours if he can help it.

Even though they itch like hell, he leaves the gloves on just in case. He was worried the arrays on the backs (http://www.asylum-anime.com/accessories/n_fma-gloves.jpg) would be damaged, but it appears this "permanent marker" stuff really is permanent.

His head aches and it's like once he's stopped, any remaining energy he had has left him. He's never done so much concentrated alchemy in so short a time in his entire life, and he's never controlled the flame so well either. He hopes people will be keeping watch, because he suspects he'll pass out any minute now.

Sakura, feeling entirely too spooked by the recent attack on the school to sleep, leans against a wall and flips through her cards, keeping her staff out and handy for good measure. She coiled her knees to her chest, looking up every few moments to glance around the room, then going back to her cards.

Alright kids... I'm sure you all did a very nice job protecting the library. Now... you all can take it easy, cause Ash is here to make sure none of those walking meatbags sneak up on you while you sleep. All of you deserve a good night's rest.

It looks like whatever happened, it may just have stopped. Now, I don't want to give you kids false hope, and this might just be a calm before another storm.

Sakura pokes her head out of Special Collections and tilts her head at Ash. She was still too spooked to actually get any decent sleep, but figured she was of more use in the main room, having known nothing of ways to help in Special Collections.

Camulus storms into the library, his eyes literally blazing and the golden hand device snaking up his arm fairly crackling. Some gore streaks his torso and legs, but he's ignoring it. He's also carrying a broadsword in the other hand, the blade completed covered in rotting flesh. He stops at the sight of so many people.

"Ah. So many managed to survive."

Chloe goes over into the Special Collections section and slumps to the floor, making a mental note to e-mail Lois when she has the energy to go back to her room. Krypto-freaks are nothing compared to freaking zombies.

"If anyone needs me? I'll just be over here, closing my eyes and pretending I'm in Maui, with a mai tai and a cabana boy."

Edward shuffles back in to the library, loaded down with two bags. Rogue is right behind him.

"We're back, and not dead or zombiefied. And, um, there are still a few roaming zombies, but not too bad. Also, we've got food and some blankets, if anyone needs anything."

Rogue drops the bags she's holding, and grabs a blanket, a pillow, and the clean clothes she brought. She heads back toward a semi secluded area to change and sleep. She gives Edward a grin, "Pass it all out as you see fit. I'm going to try to sleep."
