Dead zombies litter the ground (at the library -- yes, still)

The first wave seems to have subsided. Methos lowers his sword so the tip is touching the ground. Bloody streaks down the outside of his sweater.

Small puddles of flame flare here and there mark charred zombie bodies.

No, no zombies in my neck of the woods; just giant robots that fight in space. We got cannons made out of energy beams, though, and those things can take out a whole Colony...
