The first wave seems to have subsided. Methos lowers his sword so the tip is touching the ground. Bloody streaks down the outside of his sweater.

Small puddles of flame flare here and there mark charred zombie bodies.

Do we know what the transmission vector for the infection is?

That's fascinating. Do we know anyone that's been bitten? Have they started exhibiting symptoms? Has cleaning the wound helped? *rummages through med kit, pulls out a VERY LARGE bottle of disinfectant, as well as cotton swabs and a petri dish* Take me to anyone who's been bitten. I'd like to get some samples.

*notices the Doctor's glance and Professor Methos' torn sweater* "Professor Methos?" she asked quietly. "Was he bitten?"

I can take a look at him, make sure he's okay. If it's serious, I can't do much. Not here. But if the first wave's subsided, we can get him to the clinic. More can be done there. *calm, controlled, reassuring voice, as if she's done this a thousand times or more*
