Dead zombies litter the ground (at the library -- yes, still)

The first wave seems to have subsided. Methos lowers his sword so the tip is touching the ground. Bloody streaks down the outside of his sweater.

Small puddles of flame flare here and there mark charred zombie bodies.

That's fascinating. Do we know anyone that's been bitten? Have they started exhibiting symptoms? Has cleaning the wound helped? *rummages through med kit, pulls out a VERY LARGE bottle of disinfectant, as well as cotton swabs and a petri dish* Take me to anyone who's been bitten. I'd like to get some samples.

*notices the Doctor's glance and Professor Methos' torn sweater* "Professor Methos?" she asked quietly. "Was he bitten?"

He was. But he wasn't. See...he doesn't exactly react to injuries like you and I do.

"That's...strange. How does he react to them?" Janet looks over at Professor Methos. "If there's a possibility of infection, any possibility at all..." She shakes her head. "And if I could just get a sample of whatever is causing this.

And samples? [gestures to the pile of zombies in front of the door] We have plenty of specimens.

Janet nods. "I'll make sure he's taken care of." She glances at the bodies the Doctor is referring to. "Thank you. But it may react differently in living tissue rather than--" She makes a disgusted face. "--dead, reanimated tissue. We have to know."

[looks at her] Take a sample from Methos if you can. Otherwise, be thankful no one else was bitten. Yet.

Janet nods, her face tight. "I'm already thankful no one's dead." *glances at bodies* "Except the ones who already were."
