Dead zombies litter the ground (at the library -- yes, still)

The first wave seems to have subsided. Methos lowers his sword so the tip is touching the ground. Bloody streaks down the outside of his sweater.

Small puddles of flame flare here and there mark charred zombie bodies.

Rogue tries to organize those able to move the deader bodies around. "Okay, if you're alive, and you're not wounded, up here!" She motions to the zombies. "If it twitches, shoot it. If it doesn't, pile them in front of the door. Make sure you can get back in afterward, though." She starts hauling the dead things toward the door.

Reversing her staff back into the tiny inch-tall "portable" version of itself, Sakura replaces it around her neck and aids Rogue in moving the "dead" zombies toward the door.

Edward transmutes his blade back into an arm and grabs part of a zombie corpse to start dragging it towards the door.

"Careful of the heat. Nobody with bare hands should touch the burned ones. Kick it over if you have to."

Rogue nods. "Good advice." She yells out, "Watch out for the burnt ones! Leave 'em where they're layin'!"

Sakura eyed a few of the still-steaming zombie bodies.

"I could use a card to move them all at once, that might be easier..." She kicked herself mentally for having not voiced this thought sooner.

I don't know what that means, but try it. Atleast with the ones on fire if you can't, uh, get them all.

"A card?" Rogue shrugs. "Well, if you think it would help...?"

Sakura smiled a little. She forgot that most people didn't understand her use of the cards... Muttering the same incantation used to summon her staff before, she then called on the Windy card. A somewhat humanoid, yellow-ish hued and translucent "being" then swooped across the room to the few zombies still too hot to touch from Roy's flames. Using it's "arms", it carried the bodies to the doors where the rest of them lay. She then recalled the card and stuck it back in her pocket.

"Like that." ^_^;;

"Amazing," Roy says. "And efficient."

"Looks like we're mostly done here."

Sonia follows close behind Rogue, a decapitated body hefted over her shoulder.

"Front door? Uhhhh..." She re-adjusts her grip and heads for the doors.

"So," Rogue says, grunting a little with the strain of dead zombie. "What message did you have for me?"

Sonia drop the body at the pile, taking a moment to brush zombie matter from her cheek.

"Oh...I vas in town, earlier, and met up vith a girl named Shane. She...*groans and heaves up another body* she vanted me to tell you that she vas alright. She vas going to stay behind and help vith the people who stayed in town...she's vith Az- uh, Mr. Phale, from the bookshop, and a small group from the police station."

Though she's sweaty and covered in zombie goo, Rogue manages to smile. "That's good. Thank you for tellin' me." She smiles brightly again, then starts hauling more dead body parts around. No time to stand around, no matter how much she may want to.

Sonia smiles back at Rogue. "Glad to be of service."

She helps Rogue haul a body into the pile before heading back into the library.

Roy picks up a head that was left on the ground from Sonia's zombie, and carries it by the hair, trying not to look down at it.

"Front door, yeah. The other door leads to Special Collections. Looks like we'll at least have some interesting reading material while we wait."

Sonia follows his directions and dumps the bodies.

"You know, I'm reminded of an old saying..."May you live in interesting times." Actually, it's more of a curse. Vell, I think that *that* idea of interesting can be applied to this school."

"Haven't heard that one. Does sound like a curse." He kicks a burned, but no longer smoking zombie body toward the pile. It takes a few kicks, but luckily he wore boots today.
