Archery Workshop #3, 6/6, Danger Shop, Afternoon

The Danger Shop was set up much like it had been the week before: outdoors, targets, bows, quivers, except this time the arrows have the more traditional points on them, as opposed to suction cups. There is no blackboard, as Miho is being optimistic and hopes her students are smart enough to figure out what to do. The sign-in sheet is on a folding table near the entrance.

Miho prowls up and down the line of students, a pad of detention slips and a pen in hand and a tiny, very scary smile on her face. She was initially going to give the whole class detention just for the heck of it, but Goldie said she didn't think teachers were allowed to do that.

Dawn started giggling and eventually had to lower her arrow so she didn't shoot someone by accident.

Dean chuckled. "I take it you're as happy as I am to get rid of the suction cups."

"Ya-huh!" Buffy nodded happily. She watched him shoot a few arrows. "You're pretty good at this."

"I'm a lot more accurate with fireballs," Bel said with a scowl as one of his arrows missed the mark -- again.

"Could always pretend it's a flaming arrow," Dean suggested with a smirk and sent one of his own directly into the bullseye.

Bel eyed Miho. "I wonder if I'd get detention for setting the arrow on fire," he mused. He watched Dean shoot. "Show off," he said good-naturedly.

"Too high," Dawn sighed, as her arrow struck the target in the left shoulder area.

"I guess that depends on what you're trying to hit," Molly said and loosed her arrow without much care. It sailed over the target.

"I was aiming for the heart," Dawn said, aiming again, but a little lower. "The center breastbone is really hard to get through if you don't have super strength behind you."

"Maybe you're just aiming at a really tall target," Dean suggested.

"Most vampires aren't over six feet tall," Dawn told him, "so I probably need to be aiming even lower than I would normally."

"Come on, come on, red!" Conner kept muttering to himself as he took careful aim at the target.

Miho held out a detention slip to Conner. The reason cited was, Reminding the instructor of her tragic pigment deficiency. :( With the little frowny face and everything.

She didn't seem to be sad, though. In fact, she seemed kind of...gleeful.

Conner luckily managed to keep his head just enough to refrain from dropping the bow and arrow in his hands as he took the detention slip and read it.

"But I hadn't even noticed!" he blurted out. He would've felt sorry about the frowny face, except that Miho's gleeful expression was pretty scary.

In between taking his own shots, Sam watched everyone else taking theirs. He figured it couldn't hurt to know how he was faring compared to everyone else.

Buffy waved hi, and just avoided braining Dawn with her bow.

There are probably a few random grunts of annoyance and strings of very angry-sounding Japanese under Sakurazaki's breath that might draw a few eyes.
