Archery Workshop #3, 6/6, Danger Shop, Afternoon

The Danger Shop was set up much like it had been the week before: outdoors, targets, bows, quivers, except this time the arrows have the more traditional points on them, as opposed to suction cups. There is no blackboard, as Miho is being optimistic and hopes her students are smart enough to figure out what to do. The sign-in sheet is on a folding table near the entrance.

Miho prowls up and down the line of students, a pad of detention slips and a pen in hand and a tiny, very scary smile on her face. She was initially going to give the whole class detention just for the heck of it, but Goldie said she didn't think teachers were allowed to do that.

Parker snickered, some of her bad mood from being put into Detention lifting. "Ziiing."

Alanna shook her head. "Doing." Her next shot went into the bullseye. "Woo."

"Hoo." Parker snickered. "We sound like Marty and Jaye in Criminal Justice class." She took her next shot, and managed to make it into the inner ring. "Yay."

"They make random noises?" Alanna was fairly good at hitting the inner ring. It was anything more complicated than that that stumped her.

"Ongoing argument about the sound of the gave in the Crime & Justice series. Doink-doink versus chung-chung. It can get pretty heated." Parker sent Miho a glare, and then let another arrow fly. Bull's eye, this time. Probably from imagining who she was shooting.

Alanna raised a brow. Her next arrow wound up right next to every single other arrow that didn't quite make it to the bullseye. "Grrr."

"Any idea why it's not getting any closer?" Parker has no idea; she's just happy when it's in the inner rings, and figures practice makes perfect.

"I haven't practiced in a while? Though my aim is usually pretty much the same. I don't know, bows are just not my weapon."

"I don't know, I'm enjoying it, except for the instructor." Parker sent Miho another glare at her back, and was probably being magnificently ignored. "But then, it's more similar to guns than swords." She sighed, then facepalmed. "Which reminds me...."

"What's wrong with Miho?" Alanna was a tad puzzled and then she beamed. Slightly evily. "Oh yes. Next week? Because I'm getting conviently sick soon."

"She gave me detention for trying to 'steal' Jarod." Parker snarled soundlessly at Miho's back again, then quickly turned to her bow. "Next week. That works."

"I thought you two were dating? Huh?" The conversation is not helping Alanna's aim.

"We are. I don't know what she's on about." Parker glared at her target, then blinked. "Unless it's about trying to get him to move out of the Sin. Which I've been hoping he'd do since, oh, forever."

Parker stuck out her tongue at Alanna, then shot at the target again. "He is so getting a phone call about this."
