Gym, afternoon

The reports coming in from her clone troopers were worrying to say the least. Tex scanned around the gym seeing no one in charge and cursed. Who the hell was in charge at this school? Even Church was better at organising things. Changing the channel to communication systems, she finally found the right wavelength and the P.A. crackled to life.

"... stupid useless... Alright, that's better. Okay, listen up you anklebiters. Town's under attack by some sort of... I can't believe I'm fucking saying this... snow monsters. They got tentacles and you can shoot them but they'll kinda just reform a while later. Yeah, this should be fun. I suggest you all get some weapons and defend yourself. And if I see anyone of you adolescent fucktards heading into town to get in my troopers way I'll rip out your skull."

She turned off the communications and looked around her.

"Right, now what kind of firepower do you guys have here? You better not all be like that Canadian dictionary loving pacifist."

Aeryn had been disappointed that her attack plans for the day got canceled. Now, not so much. And it's not like she was prepared for the original attack plans, either. And when she comes down to the gym carrying what weapons she has, she thinks she really might be the most heavily armed person in the school.

Susan hesitated, then finally forced herself to go talk to the woman in armor. "Ma'am? I'm a doctor, we've already set up a medical station, if there should be wounded. But if you find anyone else with medical expertise, we'd really appreciate it if you would send them over. I think we're going to be short-handed."

Having awoken earlier from her trance, Zhaan finally moved when she heard the announcement about snow... monsters (really, she could have stayed dead) and then Susan's words brought her an unpleasant thought. Still, there was much she could do, if needed. Hoisting the medical kit she'd packed, she walked towards the woman. "I have some knowledge of medicines. Mostly herbs and their application, but I also have practical first aid knowledge. And I brought my kit with me in case of... emergencies."

He did know one thing though, when trouble went down his job was to save lives. Period. End of discussion.

He grabbed all the gosh isn't it funny how non-specific we're being supplies he'd made the troopers bring from the clinic and started to set them up in the medical corner.

"You know the drill, Suz," he told her. "Basics I can cover. Major we'll need a real doc. And God help us all if it gets any worse."

Tex moved into the locker room and eyed them for a moment. They were big enough, she decided and slun her assault rifle over her shoulder. Picking up one of the lockers effortlessly, she moved it in front of one of the windows.

Whole Blair was busy making barricades, Victor took a scarf and tied it around his torso like a sash. There was no way he could wield the gun (http://www.fuzzycouch.com/lazertag/tomy12.jpg) and bat at the same time, so he slid the bat between his back and the scarf, making an effective sheath.

"Okay, I got a better weapon," he told Walter, buckling the holster to his waist. "We should go see if those things are getting closer."

It had been a long day. Detention (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/571833.html) had been a battle and a half, and by the time Togusa and his Tachikoma had reached the gym, he had seen no snow monsters there. The small tank was finally melting off the ice from its speaker, and let out a short whine while Togusa hopped out. He would have to check it to see if the ice had caused permanent damage later.

"Whew," he muttered. "Let's see what we can find here. If you see monsters, burn rubber, to melt them!" Togusa checked to see how he could help out.
