Gym, afternoon

The reports coming in from her clone troopers were worrying to say the least. Tex scanned around the gym seeing no one in charge and cursed. Who the hell was in charge at this school? Even Church was better at organising things. Changing the channel to communication systems, she finally found the right wavelength and the P.A. crackled to life.

"... stupid useless... Alright, that's better. Okay, listen up you anklebiters. Town's under attack by some sort of... I can't believe I'm fucking saying this... snow monsters. They got tentacles and you can shoot them but they'll kinda just reform a while later. Yeah, this should be fun. I suggest you all get some weapons and defend yourself. And if I see anyone of you adolescent fucktards heading into town to get in my troopers way I'll rip out your skull."

She turned off the communications and looked around her.

"Right, now what kind of firepower do you guys have here? You better not all be like that Canadian dictionary loving pacifist."

Blair stared at Tex worriedly and pointed towards a box of scarves. "Um...wool? Does wool count as a weapon?"

"If you think it will melt them fast enough, go ahead kid." Tex shrugged.

Blair looked at the armor covered person and then down at his box of scarves. "Yeah...this is going to go well" he mumbled.

"I've got some flintlocks at the gun range... And up in my room."

Tex patted him lightly on the back. "At least you'll go down warm," she pulled out an M6D. "Ever fired a gun, kid?"

"Flintlock? Geez, that's even older than this century. Where's that gun range?" Tex asked.

Pippi's eyes widened when Tex pulled out the M6D.

That looked way better then a flintlock.

Paige orbs in, looking annoyed, cos hello the zombies were bad enough but snow monsters! WTF!

Blair waved his hands wildly. "No way, man." He flashed a peace symbol and pointed at his hair. "Pacifist hippy kid, you know?"

"Hang on, kid." Tex called, unsure of leaving the people here alone. "Why don't you get some friends and gather some weapons and bring them back here?

Aeryn had been disappointed that her attack plans for the day got canceled. Now, not so much. And it's not like she was prepared for the original attack plans, either. And when she comes down to the gym carrying what weapons she has, she thinks she really might be the most heavily armed person in the school.

Blair nodded in a dismayed sort of way. "Thanks man, good luck with the gratitious violence."

Tex grinned, glad that at least someone was prepared. "Now we're talking."

"You bet your ass, I suggest you talk from the back. If you should loud enough, they might even hear." Maybe she shouldn't mock students, but it wasn't like anyone was stopping her.

"I don't know how much help the knives will be against snow monsters, but better to be prepared," she says.

"I got all bases covered," Tex told Aeryn happily, not too bothered about everything. "Got some extra's here for the other kids to share? Just not with the hippie over there, he's setting up peace talks."

"Very funny, man." Blair bounced and started asking questions. "Do they have ears? Has anyone even tried to ask them what their demands are? Do you need a scarf?"

Tex looked down and blinked. "Yeah, I'll just take your word for it." She handed the girl the M6D and a couple of clips. "Don't make me have to come after your ass to get this back, because you won't like it. And try not to shoot yourself in the foot."

"I don't know, why don't you go try and look for their diplomats. When you do, give me a call and I'll nuke them. That work for you?"
