Gym, afternoon

The reports coming in from her clone troopers were worrying to say the least. Tex scanned around the gym seeing no one in charge and cursed. Who the hell was in charge at this school? Even Church was better at organising things. Changing the channel to communication systems, she finally found the right wavelength and the P.A. crackled to life.

"... stupid useless... Alright, that's better. Okay, listen up you anklebiters. Town's under attack by some sort of... I can't believe I'm fucking saying this... snow monsters. They got tentacles and you can shoot them but they'll kinda just reform a while later. Yeah, this should be fun. I suggest you all get some weapons and defend yourself. And if I see anyone of you adolescent fucktards heading into town to get in my troopers way I'll rip out your skull."

She turned off the communications and looked around her.

"Right, now what kind of firepower do you guys have here? You better not all be like that Canadian dictionary loving pacifist."

"What happened? Where was she injured?" Susan asked, hurrying over to the young man carrying an even younger girl who looked completely unconscious.

"This is Molly Hayes," Lee says, carefully lying her down on a cot. "She's... been hurt, I think. Unconscious, I'm not sure. I think she's an alien. She's cold, though," he says worried. "And Parker's ankle was grabbed by a snow monster. Cally's probably in need of a long sit and cup of tea."

"How are you doing, Lee?" asked Janet, looking him over.

"Did you see her get injured?" Susan asked, examining the younger girl, and taking her pulse. "She doesn't actually seem to be bleeding, and her pulse rate is steady," she added, sounding puzzled.

"No, Logan told me what happened. I'd keep her warm, I guess?" Lee suggests.

Turning to Janet he says, "Just guilty for leaving my friends behind. What I can do here?"

"Help anyone who's wounded and sort them by how severe their wound is. Send anyone who needs immediate treatment to one of us right away." Janet gave Lee a sympathetic look. "And go let someone know that we have people out there. Maybe that woman in charge of all the troopers."

"Got it," he says curtly. "Thanks."

Susan finished examining Molly, then flicked off her light. "Bruising and a small contusion on the back of her head, but otherwise she appears all right. I'm turning her on her side, just in case she wakes and vomits, but we can't do anything more complex until later." She rubbed her eyes and whispered, "Damn," under her breath.

Noting things seem to be well in hand with the new arrivals, Zhaan hurriedly grabbed the nearest NPCwaiter, and handed him the case of tea. "We'll need stimulants. This, coffee, anything you have to brew. Hot cocoa as well. It's going to be cold, and we'll need warmth to think properly." She glanced at the chaos beginning. "And soup or stew. Something that will be eaten quickly."

The waiter looked a little non-plussed, but took the case and headed off to do her bidding.
