Angela is sitting on a stool staring into space.

She's not thinking about boys, exes, or ex-boyfriends. Nope.

Bel walked into the library, not hiding, but not trying to be noticed either, and flipped through books on Japanese weaponry.

Pip steps in, taking off his cowboy hat and scratching his head. He walks up to the desk. "Where would I find books about vampires and demons? Non-fiction stuff about vampires and demons?"

"Special Collections," said Janet. "Hey, Pip. You'll have to get a note from a teacher to get in."

"Really? Damn. I don't think 'I've started to develop a healthy sense of paranoia about mystical threats' is going to cut it with a teacher. Thanks anyway."

Janet shrugged. You never knew 'til you tried. "No problem. How're your classes going?"

"Pretty good. I added one. Tactics of War or something like that. Figured it was kind of right up my alley, ya know?"

"We're in a class together, then," said Janet. "It should be interesting. What do you think of the teacher?"

Peter took a seat in the library with his Constitution reading for Government class. His room was too quiet so he went, ironically, to the library to study. At the very least there should be some activity here...

Angela waves but doesn't bother Peter. They should encourage students who actually want to study in the library, right?

Peter waved back. Yep. He had a good feeling that he was going to get a lot of studying done.

Rory eyed Peter thoughtfully.

She pondered throwing a pen at him to see what would happen.

Peter continued to study, although he had the feeling (a very accurate feeling, really), that someone was watching him.

He slouched down in his chair a little.

Rory narrowed her eyes.

She very nearly did throw the pen. But then she realized her aim was so bad that it would prove nothing. Damn it.

Parker greets Petey-boy with a whap on the arm. "What were you thinking? Dufus."

He saw it coming and it didn't hurt, but he had to put on the show. "Ow. Hey, what was that for?"

"Dodging bullets? Hello? Playing with crazy people in the park? Callisto was impressed, so I'd be impressed. Except even with superpowers, or whatever you've got, that was dumb."

Crap. Lying really wasn't going to work, was it? Still worth a shot, though. "I went over this with Rory already. I was in the park, crazy people with bad aim are there. I did nothing."

"You could've *left* the park." Another whap. "And why didn't you tell anyone, Normal Boy? That makes no sense. Have you seen half the student body?"

Parker stomps in, make-up-less, dressed in sweats, wearing a baseball cap.

Yeah, it's good day to be her, you betcha.

Angela gives Parker a curious wave. "Hi. Laundry day?"

"Ransom Demand Number Two," Parker almost spits out. "I get to be a frump for a day. I'm thinking that I'll start with hanging these guys by their thumbs and then work my way down to ripping out their toenails."

"Crazy. It's like whoever's doing this knows exactly how to push your buttons." She frowns. "Hey, do you think Jarod could have done this? I mean, Rover's gone, I bet non-students could get on campus if they were sneaky enough."

Parker stared at Angela, then shook her head. "He wouldn't dare. He *knows* how much I'd kill him if he tried this." Mostly. She was pretty sure. Besides, she asked for help, and he said he would. Except... "Okay, he might have, this is the kind of thing he used to pull when we were in Blue Cove, but he was in *shock* over that stupid song last night. So no. Besides, he's not here to see this," she gestured to herself, "so it has to be someone who can at least verify that I'm looking like I shopped at K-Mart today. Grrr."

"Unless he has access to the security feeds nd is seeing what you're wearing that way. Or he's a good actor. Or it's more than one person, and he honestly doesn't know everything," Angela says, then lets it go.

"Maybe I just don't want to admit Marty could do something this pathetic. And mean."
