"Sure," Peter said. It might be hard to figure out how it is that Peter manages to aggravate things. However, he was out of lies.

"Fine. But please don't tell anyone anything more than what they might have heard on the radio, okay?"

"I have my reasons for wanting to keep things relatively normal here. And I promise I'll tell you sometime when we're someplace a little more private. But for right now, please, just pretend you heard nothing about me doing anything unordinary," Peter pleaded.

"Wish I knew why you were thanking me," Rory smiled, starting to head back to the desk. "Probably just for existing, huh? Because I'm really kind of awesome and all."
