Included in the packets are:
Your child's/ward's/whatever relationship you have with this person's Class Schedule
A Map of the School and Town
A Schedule of Events for Parents Weekend
The rules and regulations of Parents Weekend
A Coupon Book

At the desk is a sign saying:
Please sign in here for Parents Weekend

And depending who is looking at the sign it will magically say:
To ensure everyone's safety, please surrender any Firearms/Weaponry/Magical doodads that will cause harm to our students.

Your property will be returned to you before you leave.

Thank you!

ETA: Parents/Guardians are now required to check in on their own.
((OOC: In other words... If your parents are somewhat "normal" and unarmed they will not see the message. Unless they are packing some kind of weapon, and then they will be see it. Got it?))

Parker's smile widens. "It's so sweet of you to say that, Mrs. Broots. I have to admit, your son's been very helpful to me here. If it weren't for him, the student council campaign would have been *so* much more difficult." She shines a bright and wicked smile at Broots, at least if you know her well enough.

At the mention of one of doekface's many internships and jobs, Cam loses what little interest she might have ever had in this conversation.

"Well he's pretty special, Mr. Sydney, very different, I'm glad you found a use for him."

"Of course." Parker turns a blinding smile on Jack, and holds out her hand. "I've heard so much about you, Mr. Crichton. Who is the IASA these days?"

Jack smiles and takes Parker's hand. "Firm grip," he compliments. "And I hope all you've heard has been good," Jack says with a wink. "The IASA is wonderful. Busy. Are you interested in space travel?"

"Thank you." Parker nearly dimples at him. "And of course it is. It's obvious John respects you very much." She bites her lip. "I'm more interested in the practical possibilities of life in outer space, eventually. Colonizing Mars, and the like. I'll leave the risk-taking to guys like your son."

Jack smiles widely, obviously pleased at her interest and knowledge of space travel and the possibilities of space. "Well, you're quite well versed, young lady. I don't believe John's mentioned you but I haven't heard from him much." Jack leans in and whispers, "Is he behaving himself? Just between you and me."
